Dimash doesn’t just cover songs, he reinvents them. As amazing as his 6 octaves is what really gets me about Dimash is his artistic interpretations and blend of vocal techniques from around the world. I call him the vocal encyclopedia lol rock, RnB, opera, pop, middle eastern etc. he can do it all.
I have always liked this song, but I don't think I ever felt the true meaning of it until I heard Dimash sing it. Through his interpretation of the song, you can feel the angst and the longing of the one who loves in secret and burns with that love, though the other person does not know.
The guy is screaming inside of him with all of his heart that he loves her/him...but outside is just a whisper, a pining, because he is aware of the impossibility of their being together... beautiful.

This was awesome with the Central Asian/Oriental traditional taste. A great singer can mix and match all these techniques, bel canto, modern, traditional... The musical world really needs to dig into these traditions.
