- One of the best things for an avgeek to do in Vancouver during the winter? Photograph airplanes against Vancouver's elusive wintery mountain scenery. That's precisely what I try to do in this vlog. Do I succeed?

I went plane spotting a few days ago and took some doll photos (That's what I do) on the mini runways by the globe and it's been getting lots of positive feedback. I of course watched planes too. The mountains looked gorgeous and I really need to get myself a zoom lens already!
Edit: I really wanted to catch the panda airplane, but unfortunately I was in the Starbucks drive through line and it was a bit foggy so I only saw the outline.
Awesome! Once you get a zoom lens make sure to head to Terra Nova to try it out with the mountains!

Another great video that makes us wanting to visit YVR even more. Actually YVR is on our bucket list for quite some time now and we wanted to go there this winter on a BA 747 :/ Hopefully we get a chance to visit Vancouver next year, these views are insane! Happy New Year Alvin!

first of all. good video. Thank you for taking my suggestions and fixing them.
1. I still do not like that you kept the music build up and cut. You cant do that man. Editing and viewing has a big part to do with rhythm and flow and having the music build up just to cut it and have you talk aint pleasing.
2. I think the china southern was too long.
3. Thank you for putting your edits and thoughts at the end, made the video feel complete and as a viewer you are content and feel that the video provided what the thumbnail and titles says.
4. (minor minor) I told you to cut the "um" and "uh" man why didnt you? I hope you realized most of your viewers have very bad attention spans, I am no exception.
5. I appreciate you adding Bravo at the end. Characters and the way they act with each other within videos, movies and tv is a big reason why people watch shows like the Office for example. You become attached to characters and the more you watch you get to know them more and understand them. Although a dog is not very relatable to a human, Bravo is a very big part of your brand and who you are. Make sure he makes more appearances because it is a good way to build a character in your videos ( he is also very cute) #morebravo
Overall RB, you produce top notch quality. Although your videos dont have the story, character development and drama that does well on RUclips, you have the beautiful shots to make up for it. I would also like to add that you have knowledge and that is power. You have something people want and thats how some/most RUclips videos do well, (I know you dont feel comfortable showing your whole workflow but it is something that people would watch) I wouldn't be frustrated with your work because it is quality. I appreciate quality over quantity and I am sure most of your viewers do as well. Dont give up, you will get your break. (sorry for being a harsh critique but I care about you and your videos) Keep posting content and run it by me again hehe. I will gladly give you feedback.

How do you film so smoothly? Do you have strong or weak resistance on your tripod? Anyway amazing video man
Thanks Max! I use a fluid head tripod and go with a stronger resistance as I find that helps me pan smoother.

Do you ever been hussled by the police or security of a premise where you consider as a great spotting place? and how do you handle the situation? cos I've experienced some bad situation where the security or the police thinks they're the biggest as*hole for being able to throw us away off the premise...

Thank you! Most of the time I keep it on auto, but for night shots, long exposures or panning shots I may change it manually.
