Metal Slug 6 is now available to purchase for the Playstation 4 console on SEA regions of PSN Store.
The game is a port of the Japanese exclusive PS2 version, but with changes that are exclusively made for the PS4. Such as the game's graphics and pixels remastered into the classic NEO GEO arcade style with shadows disabled, and increased brightness. Along with new sound effects and the classic NEO GEO P.O.Ws' "Thank You". The game is also upscaled to 1080p with the game running in 60 frame per second, along with tons of other extra contents such as Art Gallery, previous Metal Slug BGM collections and Combat School. The background musics are also replaced with high-quality ones!

Now going serious, Banden: SNKP is like a duck, doing this while giving no fuck. SNK should've restored more soundbytes than the POWs, the grunts/screams of the Rebel Soldiers, as well as the Heroes. Besides, I don't know if you noticed Difficulty and Character selection are in English, but the rest in Japanese. If this was for the Southasian region, at least they should put effort in localizing everything (DHM Interactive did it in MS Collection PC). Taking out the Shadows? Good. Bright up the graphics? Great. Fixing Music loops? An Ode to my ears. But not checking up the minuscule detail makes them look like shit.

Ahora en serio, Banden: SNKP es como el pato, un paso una cagada. SNK debería haber restaurado más sonidos que el de los Prisioneros, los gritos de los soldados de la Rebel Army, y de los Héroes. Además, no sé si notaste que la selección de dificultad y personajes están las descripciones en inglés, pero el resto en japonés. Si era para la región de Sudasia, deberían al menos haber hecho un esfuerzo en localizar todo (DHM Interactive lo hizo en el MS Collection PC). ¿Quitar las sombras? Bien. ¿Subir el brillo? Genial. ¿Arreglar los loops de música? Una oda a mis oídos. Pero no controlar hasta el nímio detalle los hace quedar como el culo.
*EDIT: Vi la batalla contra el compañero glitcheado. Este port es un montón de MIERDA.*
@MM -DA Según leí, este port fue hecho debido a las quejas del Metal Slug Anthology y su input lag. Mientras más fiel al arcade sea, mejor.
Meterle cosas que NO CORRESPONDEN les causa un rechazo enorme.

I was unaware that metal slug 6 never got rereleased between the ps2 compilation port and the ps4 version. It makes me kind of glad that i got the anthology collection for ps2. Idk i just like compilation discs, i got a bakers dozen of them in my collection

Jesús bendito. Los efectos de sonidos estan bien madreados. Personalmente habríannquesado súper chingones los sonidos clásicos de los volúmenes anteriores, obviamente con la gráfica multimedia en alta calidad. Saludos.
Buen vídeo para recordar pero hay muchas inconsistencias. Hubo muchos (MUCHOS) momentos en que debería haber muerto y no lo hizo, los notables bugs de varios enemigos y por último al final no debió aparecer Rootmars porque para que te salvase debías ir por el camino oculto del minuto 22:53 y es obvio que no fue por ahí porque se destruyó. Si vas por ese camino oculto vas en uno de los brazos de Rootmars y tiene una ametralladora... si haces eso al final te salva Rootmars pero cómo no fue por el camino oculto lo debió salvar el general Morden en una nave acompañado de mars people... y también lo más obvio es que tapó su marcador de puntos.

@@mariosalinas4873 El primero no es bug, quizas sea para aprovechar la invencibilidad por un rato, si no existiera, casi nadie pasaria el juego. El segundo se debe a framerate y no estaba diseñado a 60 FPS, aparecen los sprites corruptos o Binarios

This MS6 is mix of Atomicswave and PS2
Vulcan and "Thank you" is Atomicswave and other sound is same as PS2 (and Atomicswave)
and Donkey slug, Smasher, Vanguard, and Parasite Controller need bug fix too.

El Metal Slug 6 esta incluida en compilado de Metal Slug Anthology en PS4 seria tonto comprarlo en separado para la misma consola.
Yo tengo el Anthology y el MS XX en PS4.
en el anthology el ms6 no le da dificultad dificil en cambio en un dvd q sea ms6 oficcial si le da cualquier dificultad si q sos un tonto de verdad :-v
