I was able to fix mine and also figure out how tweety comes out. The big gear is not broken like you thought. on 2:37 when you are holding the gear you show a short knoby that you think is missing a piece. It is not. Mine looks the same. Right under, there is a longer knobby. The tweety sits on that one and the rest just like you showed. That's what makes the tweety go up and it also prevents it for going too low when it goes back in.

Thanks for the information. I am waiting for the gear as I mentioned in another comment coming from the UK. Once I get it then I will start on this clock again.

I bought one of these recently and that little knob broke off during shipping, I was able to cut down a small finish nail and glue it in place of the knob and it worked like a charm! Tweety goes up and down without issue, thanks for all of the information!

I am fixing a few of these. Any source for the face gear? Do you have any spare?

The only parts I have is this one clock. I still dont have it fixed. There is a guy on FB. His name is David Lloyd. He lives in the UK who repairs these items. You might contact him. He might have some spare parts. Good luck.

Did you try McMaster-carr to get the gear?

No. A friend of mine from the UK is sending me a gear. He works on these clocks all the time. Thanks.

This would worry me the most. How would you get a new gear for one of these clocks.

There is a guy in the UK who is part of my group page who repairs these all the time. I am sure that he would know. But I think in this case I am going to have to make it from the video that I posted in the Featured items of the group page. Here it is. I hope it helps. ruclips.net/video/atI9EiSK0hU/видео.html

@@munnerlyn3 I was trying to fix the tweety issue on mine and now the motor stopped working. I will continue to work on it. Have you tried to see if McMaster has the gear you need?
