+Marshal Jim Duncan Been trying to find more photos of Hills in the York, PA area. Any ideas? Remember the summer specials where hot dogs, sodas & chips were all 25cents or less. U could get 2 dogs, a drink & a bag of chips for $1 !!!
Steven McFly I would try google images maybe. I do remember that, lol! The gas station down the road had something similar, it was a small coke trailer and they had the 25 cent hot dogs, chips and drinks too!
Yep ... right outside the entrance (usually the right side, as Hills had right & left side entrances) they had the little ho dog stand kinda thing. I remember specifically: hot dogs & chips were 25cents & a reg size Solo cup of soda 15cents. U could get 2 dogs, a soda & a bag of chips all for under $1 :-)
+Brad Julio And on weekends in the summer, they had a cart outside (at least at the York, PA locations) where U could get a hot dog, bag of chips & soda for under $1 !!!
Still as funny in 2023. Loved seeing the rides that used be at Kennywood. My Dad was actually at the Steelers Immaculate Reception game at Three Rivers Stadium. I still miss Hills. Great memories.
have that one pissed off road crew dude that draws the short straw and has to hold the slow /stop sign .. all mad .. at you ..because you are actually going slow ... you know following the sign? ... I've actually had one of them do that .. just start throwing a temper tantrum like come on !!! wave wave wave .. come on!!! ... lmfao
this was funny ..instead of going to Walmart he go to hills lol and tells the teens you aint ready for facebook but your kids are going to love it ..this was well done ...good job Pittsburgh dad
Michael Connolly I was there 3 years ago , I liked it then and this spring I’ll like it again- this time I’m not going to be the designated driver. Glad I got to see it lucid as can be but think this next time I’m going to have a couple iron city’s
If I had the DeLorean time machine, I'd go to New York in 1947. Because of the music and the atmosphere, but also to meet my grandpa, who's 27 like me, in 1947. 👍
lmao I live in Pittsburgh and this is absolutely the shit. I just found this guy in here and holy shit is it fucking great with the Pittsburgh references.
This is the best video I have ever seen in my life! I'm getting that t-shirt! Now excuse me, I'm gonna watch this again! Thanks Pittsburgh Dad and Chris Preska!
Aww thanks that's sweet! I'll be there at the end of June next year. Maybe even for July 4! Is there somewhere good to go for July 4th?? Let me know :)
Taylor Vegas um...we are the fireworks capital of THE world! We have the best fireworks anywhere. We have PRIMANTIS sandwichs that have fries on them. We have inclines that go up high on wood and steel rails. You will love it. Cornell.heather@Gmail.com you email me if you have questions
Taylor Vegas I actually live in the same borough as him, like 2 minutes away. Seen him at the sheets a few times. I love my city and all, but its really not worth going out of your way to visit. If you waste money on a vacation, go to florida or something.
Dont listen to him. Pittsburgh is not Vegas or New York. We dont have golden beaches. But id your around the north east area we are worth a day or two. I love it here. Other than this guy the ppl here are friendly.
Shopping at Hills meant going to the electronics department and playing the latest Nintendo demos as a kid, such as the future of gaming: Virtual Boy (well, at least I could say I played it a couple times before it disappeared). And of course soft pretzels and maybe an ICEE. I miss Hills. Awesome video!
+Jim Taggart Hill is Where the Toys Are! YESSIREE !!! Pretzel & a Icee ... and the hot dogs, sodas & bags of chips during the summer ... a small kids meal for under $1 outside at the little stand they;d setup. Remember those? They had them all over York County PA
That Brady change had me in tears! Hilarious!
The best part was when he came out of Hill's with a pretzel and an Icee!!! Brings back great memories of Hill's in Heildelberg.

I loved Hills. My GF bought me a Hills t-shirt. Had so many good comments on it. Everyone loved Hills.
"Hope I don't hit a tunnel before 88" That made me laugh so hard!
Haha!! That was amazing!!
Tom's Turbo Garage Best comment ever seeing as I watch your content also lol
Yes, I caught the "Hills is where the toys are" music. Nice touch.
Agreed-- been watching a bunch of Hills ads on RUclips. Including the "We're a different kind of department store" commercials. ("Check us out!")
Exceeded my expectations greatly.
"Now he's deflating tires". I'm rolling on the floor. Too funny.
PENNDOT shutting down the sky is totally believable.

"Plenty of Trans-fats... plenty of Trans-Ams!" Best Pitts Dad ever!
Now all he's deflating is tires.....lol
People in real life pay tom brady millions of dollars. If he was fixing cars i wouldnt even pay him a paper wad with chewing gum inside.

Soft pretzel and a drink at Hills...love it! I remember those days
The largest budget for a Pittsburgh Dad video haha. This was so great!
this has to be one of the greatest things on RUclips

If I had the DeLorean time machine, I'd go to New York in 1947. Because of the music and the atmosphere, but also to meet my grandpa, who's 27 like me, in 1947. 👍
Jack Flippin what about watching the Yankees world series
