That 1981-82 Islanders squad were an absolutely unstoppable machine. That was EASILY the best of their Cup winning teams.

I was at game 2, first playoff game I ever went to growing up on Long Island at the time.
    I was 10 years old.

The '81-'82 Islanders were probably one of the most dominant single-season teams of all-time. They did stumble a bit early in the '82 playoffs, but finished by winning 12 of their last 13 games, sweeping both the Nords & Canucks, & thus capturing their 3rd straight Stanley Cup.

Awesome film. I remember this. Longtime Canucks fan here. The Islanders were a Stanley Cup powerhouse but I was very proud of what my Canucks did that year. Should've won Game 1. Could've won both Games 1 & 2.
    LOVED the Canucks' home yellows.

Should have been the Blackhawks but they got spanked by Vancouver. That hurt
