- This is by no means trying to outdo the work of the voice actor from the remake, but serves to show what could’ve been had they created Ada Wong closer to her original counterpart from Resident Evil 4. I stayed true to the original script from the remake, but may have also inserted my own production and writing for a couple scenes. My apologies in advance for the laundry bit; it's my favorite line from my favorite movie so I had to include it. Here is Ada Wong from the Resident Evil 4 Remake with her original voice actor. I remade Ada Wong from the Resident 4 Remake into her original voice actor, and this is by no means saying one is better than the other since that is for you to decide ❤️

Not bashing on Lily Gao, but man… I miss *Sally Cahill* as Ada. Heck, even Courtenay Taylor from RE6 sounded similar, too! Jolene Andersen from REmake 2 didn’t need to be replaced, though.😭❤

Honestly Lily stands out because her voice sounds totally different out of all voices we heard, Lily's is raspy while other's were more smooth and delicate but all have one thing in common, all gave the badass vibe and that's what truly makes Ada as a character, the badassness, in my opinion Lily has perfect Ada voice but she hasn't used it correctly, Ada is known for her sex-appeal when she talks, Lily didn't have it most times and some words were emotionless
we all know the only reason she is not Ada anymore is because of the nonsense "only asian people can perform asian characters"

Oh man! This sounds so much more lively, has more energy and playful tone to it then what Lily Gao recorded for RE4R.

Agreed, he did well in RE4.
He’s part of the version of Wesker I knew.
Realistic, humble, and ice cold.

Aw man this version feels oh so right, but at the same time oh so wrong. Like…it’s exactly what you’d expect from the Ada we all know…but you just know that if you got even Sally Cahill to come back and voice Ada again, she wouldn’t voice it this way in this more realistic setting.
She sounds too cartoony fem fatale in OG and too sleepy/bored in re4 Remake. Maybe use re2 remake voice?
The OG voice sounds more fitting for a cartoon character though. That's the thing. It was fine back then but now video games are more realistic and have a more serious tone so it does not fit anymore. I'd say Ada's voice actor from RE2 remake would be the best. You should make a video with that voice actress.
You’re completely right, Sally is great and all, but her voice does not fit the realistic looks of Ada in RE2R and RE4R at all, Ada’s look in the og RE4 for example was more cartoonish as you said, so it fit perfectly. However Jolene would’ve still been perfect for RE4R Ada since it’s the same face model from RE2R as well.

I totally understand you. Being honest, IMO, this voice fits perfectly to Ada from the original game (2005), however this Remake has brought us a completely new Ada. I feel we cannot compare them both cause they've got their particularities. Ada from Remake seems more emotional, yet very rational and fearless, so Lily's voice fits her way better, because her characteristic is about being more steady and strong, and to me the way her voice sounds it's perfect because of it. On the other hand, although Ada from the OG is also strong and always knows what she's doing, her voice sounds very flirting (which doesn't fit to this Remake version), so I must say I've liked much more this new Ada. She's perfect in every single way (my biggest crush ever lol)
So are you making a mod once this releases? I'm glad I'm holding off on playing it so that I can experience it with the mods and everything.
