that's crazy! I hope you report this to Network Rail. what about the emergency phone number under the left hand signal? You get some incredible footage and I really enjoy your videos thank you
Only time I would say its dangerous is after dark, I remember someone colliding with a wagon on crossing similar to this in Lincolnshire a while ago after dark on an unlit road, she was seriously hurt
DID YOU INFORM NETWORK RAIL OR THE BRITISH TRANSPORT POLICE.THIS IS DANGEROUS THE TRAIN COULD ROLL BACK.BUT NOT TO MENTION IT IS CAUSING AN INCONVENIENCE TO THE TRAFFIC AND GENERAL PUBLIC
What the heck why did the crossing deactivate when there was a train on there

The tone in the YO5 sounder (the big one) has changed tone to 'FAST Alternating'.
It sounds amazing tho! I noticed throughout the video, it was changing its pitch slightly!
This crossing sometimes activates when a train hits the treadle, but I don’t know if it’s an AOCL+B-TMO
Hi Theo, this crossing is activated using treadles in the normal way. There's no TMO part here.
It’s just an AOCL+B
That's is so dangerous when. The crossing deactivated when the train is on the crossing
I think it had a time out - if it had received nothing from the treadles then it just reset itself.
OwenR10 it does it nearly all the time
@@SouthCoastLevelCrossings34 That’s why these crossings SHOULD be AFBCL’s.
@@SouthCoastLevelCrossings34 They need to increase the speed limit
@@SouthCoastLevelCrossings34 why did the train stop tho?
How can this be dangerous? If anyone can't see a train in front of them,
they shouldn't be driving!

This crossing probably has a cancel timer too, as it was an AOCL
Yep :-)
The crossing timed out cos the treadles have not picked up any movement for a few minutes
one thing about the united states is that no matter how long the train is stopped at a railroad crossing, the signal stays activated
That YO5’s gotten faster!
In one of my other videos here, it goes absolutely crazy! 😂

It timed out
It did indeed!
They specifically moved the peg forward at Northam Jn to prevent this from happening! And god knows what happened with the crossing!
When did they move the peg?

Stands there. Doesn't report it to the signalman.
