I’m confused on the question that says. ” Can you commit to your availability for at least 90 days upon hire?” Does that mean I only work for 90 days, if I’m hired?
Good question! No, that does not mean the job will last only 90 days. Elsewhere in the application, they asked about your availability - the days/times you can work. Here, they're asking, "Do you promise that you can work those days/times for at least the next 90 days?" So for example, if you were about to start a new class schedule that would change your availability, you would answer "No."
Im only 16 and I really want to work for target as a online order packager but I don't know what the actual name for that positions is called. Also I have no work experience
If you don't have work experience, we'd recommend thinking about what you DO have. Have you done volunteer work, through school or church, or in the community? Have you held a leadership position on any sort of athletic team or extracurricular group? These things can be put on your resume to showcase your skills in the absence of work experience. For your other question, we'd advise that you call Target and ask them what their official name is for their "online order packager" jobs, and the best way for you to find that application.
Hi I have a question I’m a high school student, not yet graduated and I’m confused how to fill the education part I don’t have a degree or a field. And also for my experience I don’t have any it’s my first job, what can I do?
At this point, you do not yet have a degree, so you would need to leave this section blank or select "No degree". If you submit a resume as part of your application, you could include your high school diploma on the resume, along with your Anticipated Graduation Date, to show that your degree is in progress. For the experience, we'd recommend that you include any volunteer, self-employment, or leadership experience that you have. If you have none, then leave the experience section blank or, if you are not allowed to leave it blank, type "No experience" in the blanks. Good luck!

Keep checking your email and voicemail for messages from the company. Reply to any messages promptly. After two weeks, if you have heard nothing, then call to follow up. You can tell the person on the phone that you'd like to check on the status of your application - you haven't heard back after applying, and you want to make sure that your application was received and that there aren't any issues you need to resolve. As long as you remain polite and understanding on the phone (and don't seem to be demanding a job), this should not be a problem.
Don't say "available any time" if you're not. Only select the times which you're actually available. If they need staff for those times, then you have a good chance of being called in for an interview.
Target, like Amazon and Walmart, does ask for your SSN on the application, so that they can run a background check on you. You're right to be cautious about putting your SSN on the internet, but in some cases (including this one), you cannot complete the application without it. As long as you are applying through the official company website (corporate.target.com/careers/store-distribution), it is safe.

I’m confuse on the part when it said “are you at least 18 years old” like isn’t target allowing people to be at least age 16? Or what do they mean about the 18 year old part. And also I’m trying to find a job in target but thank to you I understand how to apply a job on target but I want to make sure I work part time and as a cashier since I’m still in school. How well I know that I’m working part time and I’m the cashier? Or is there something I missed.
Many companies ask whether you are at least 18, because you have to be at least 18 to handle certain products and perform certain duties. But that doesn't mean they will reject you for being under 18, just that there will be certain roles you're not eligible for. To make sure that you are applying for a part-time cashier position, read the job posting carefully before you apply. It should say what the job duties are, as well as whether it's part-time or full-time.

Do you have to submit refrendes for a job at target? I’m 16 and I can only think of 1 maybe 2 references and it’s summer break so I can’t ask any teachers to be a ref.
We didn't see a place on the Target application where they asked for references. But just in case you need references for other job applications: try calling your school and explaining the situation. The front office employees will still be there, and they may be able to give you an email address where you can reach your teachers to ask for a reference. In addition to teachers, you can ask for references from adults who you worked with on an athletic team, in a church group, in a volunteer activity, or in an extracurricular group. Hope that helps!
It’s asking what is the earliest time And latest time I can work. I put 9am as the earliest time but what does it mean as latest time? Should I put a few hours after 9 am because I’ll be available???
For latest time, it means, "How late can you stay?" So, for example, if you need to be off work by 3:00 pm to pick up your kids, put "3:00 pm." However, if you have a more open schedule and could theoretically work until late in the evening, you can put "11:00 pm." They're asking about your flexibility to work different shifts.
Since we are not affiliated with Target, we don't know exactly how the hiring process works, so we can't say for sure whether they will see your resume or not. The safest thing would be to manually add the work experience to the application.
Hmm. When we tried it, that was the first step of the application after creating an account (at around 5:20 in the video). If it doesn't look like that for you, it could mean that Target has recently changed their application process, or it could mean that something is not working properly with your application. Unfortunately, from this distance, we can't diagnose what the problem is. If you're applying on a mobile device, that could be affecting your progress, but other than that we don't know what to suggest. We'd recommend that you get in-person assistance from your local library.
To help your application stand out, we always recommend that you look at things from an employer's perspective - what skills are they going to be looking for in an asset protection employee? In terms of what you're doing wrong. . .you may not be doing anything wrong. They may simply be going for candidates who have more experience, or whom they know personally. Alternately, if Target has an assessment, there is a chance that you're not passing the assessment. We'd recommend that you contact your local Target and say something like, "I'm very interested in working at Target. I've applied for five positions but haven't gotten an interview. Can you tell me what I can do to improve my chances?" See if they have any advice. Good luck!
The rules vary from state to state. Here in Louisiana, everyone under the age of 18 must have a work permit, but that may not be the case where you live. We'd recommend that you ask locally. You can contact your state's department of labor (or check their website), or you can contact your local Target to ask.
The system will not allow you to submit a general application - you must choose a specific job to apply for. Go to the "search jobs" page - jobs.target.com/ - and narrow it down by your city and state. Then choose a specific job and click on it. The "apply" button will be under the title, in red.
I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you asking about whether you need to answer all of the questions on the application? As the video said, certain questions are marked as mandatory, and others are optional.
The tax credit is voluntary; you can choose not to answer the questions if you do not want to. Some websites have it set up so that you can skip the entire process; others have an "I choose not to answer" option after each question.
