Another amazing sci-fi vessel. Really hoping one of your talented artists can put together models for both USS Daedalus from Stargate SG1, and also Battlestar Pegasus from BSG.
Thank you for stopping by and revealing your interest in Gambody marketplace as well as voicing your ideas as for the models you favour. Upon your inquiry, we have added Battlestar Pegasus and USS Daedalus to the Wishlist of 3D printing models we have. The models from this catalogue are then offered to our contributing 3D artists as possible future 3D projects. 👍 From your part, you can also take part in the survey we have and increase the chances of the characters/objects to your liking to appear on the marketplace, the poll is here: goo.gl/forms/vcedoRHt7orI2eTZ2.
These look amazing. So you just offer the plans to 3d print as I build model kits and would love this but don't have a 3d printer. How do I go about getting a kit? and what would be the cost approximately. Lots of sci-fi model builders are looking for this model and others from alien to build.
Thank you for your considerate comment and for revealing your interest in Gambody marketplace. Well, Gambody indeed deals only with the STL files of 3D printing models, and you would need a 3D printer subsequently to make the files obtain a physical form. Although we don’t deal with actual items, and neither do we sell finished 3D prints, we happen to collaborate with the site where you can find a 3D printing service provider. Thus, if you purchase the desired USCSS Nostromo 3D Printing Model, you will obtain access to all the STL files the model comprises. Then, for you to have the purchased files 3D printed, you can find a 3D printing service provider on our partner site named Treatstock (www.treatstock.com/). The site allows you to choose the desired scale, material in which you want to have the model printed, colour, etc. Having set all parameters you will immediately see the full list of all possible 3D printing service providers, the location of each of them and the price they request for this particular service. The detailed information is set forth here: gambody.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020281592. By the way, while the desired model might result in quite a pricey finished 3D print, the idea of obtaining a 3D printer can be pretty reasonable, since those are getting more and more affordable these days. Going by the feedback provided by our customers, the commonly used FFF/FDM 3D printers are Creality Ender-3, Anycubic i3 Mega (approximately $180), while those of DLP/SLA technology are as follows Elegoo Mars (approximately $259.99) and Anycubic Photon 3D printers. You can find examples of finished 3D prints using each of the mentioned 3D printers FB group, so please join the community: facebook.com/groups/183216945475583. For more information, you are welcome to reach out to us at support@gambody.com or via Facebook messages🤗
