So often when a late night host is interviewing an actress/actor on a film/tv show, they claim to have seen it but show little interest. It’s refreshing to see that Conan actually does research, asks real questions and demonstrates interest in his guests. And Conan is the time slot that’s cut in half? Makes perfect sense.
The moment he said he has seen the movie, I was on him. Like what you say, often they claim they've seen it, its amazing, and they immediately stop talking about it, asking the scripted questions instead. However Conan not only seemed interested, but he quoted from it too Which is all the more cool because it's not a blockbuster, but a very little movie that someone has to choose to watch
That's why I will never watch conan shows again. It's like always 90% conan and 10% guest at best. The biggest problem is that you could definitely tell Willem had something to say on many occasions but he just didn't have the chance to speak
