For Instance, the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask has a large variety of masks that I believe are inspired by traditional mask making, and I think they could be a fun challenge for you if you felt like doing something out of the ordinary~ As always excellent work and thank you for sharing!

Excellent finish. It looks even more polished than previous works, it's amazing. Why [提灯お岩] mask does only have one golden eye? Most kami mask you previously crafted has both eyes covered in golden leaf. It is an aesthetic choice, or rather a traditional custom that gives it special meaning? I'm really curious. Thanks for sharing.
@hiromitsu3177 Interesting! Thank you for your reply. I've never carved cypress wood. Have you ever carved American basswood? That's the kind of wood I use for my carvings. There's no boiling required.
oh you know when i was studying at art school we were taught to use an axe to carve out folklore figures from a solid block of wood, BUT IT NEVER ENTERED MY HEAD THAT IT WAS POSSIBLE TO MAKE CUTS so that the chips would be smaller this is really cool i will show this to my former teacher

The fact that only one eye is gold is not a rule, it's just my own creation.Because I wanted to emphasize the swollen eye.

I have never heard of that.If it is made from limestone, it is not called GOFUN.
If its made from limestone and hide glue, its more of a traditional gesso
