I grew up on gospel music, but the first time I heard Rachael changed everything. Rachael you are an amazing artist. Years ago, all I wanted to do was sing with Rachael. That would have been # 1 on my bucket list! I love you to death, but I understand the negativity. This song talks about how you feel. Now I (as a writer myself) would like to know where God is taking you now. It sounds like a story that's just beginning. I was almost in tears when I heard this. It's beautiful! I thought about my life, and that after all these years I finally know who I am. I'm a child of God, and although I kind of knew before, it's clear to me now. Now that I've seen myself, God I don't want to see us anymore, I want to see you.

Where has the message about the gospel of Jesus Christ gone? The world...especially nowadays...NEEDS Christ and, Us who have been called to use our gift to shine for Him in this lawlessness-filled world, we shouldn't move away from what we once were known for but rather try...and more than ever... to point people towards Him and Him ONLY. I've always been one of Rachael Lampa's biggest fans but I love Christ more and cannot stay quiet. The world needs Christ and, if there could be a time where christians would start singing secular songs to the world, this very evil time that we're living in is CLEARLY NOT the appropriate one to go down that road... I humbly pray that this comment brings a change...in Jesus' name, Amen.
Good intention, wrong place, the gospel never was made to be spread in religious and *GOSPEL* ,Isn't the way ,is the inttention the world will recognize the savior when we use the language that do communicates with the ones the god want ,sometimes even in a introspection expression of art, because Art is tottaly divine ,the only thing the bible says the devil is the creator is the lies ,but the art no matter what will show his glory ,there's time and space to show god in all expression ,because it is grace ,we are in the grace not in the law... Rachel is getting back and it is very hard after some time don't try to help demolishing all... This is why Jesus didn't like when Peter try to defend the "Gospel" (Jesus) cutting the soldier's ear... We can't help or defend the truth cutting the ear of your brother no matter if in the moment we have reason or not...
You have no idea what she is singing about. Music, lyrics and interpretation is to the listener. For all you know she could be singing about the music industry, a close friend or nothing of the sort. It's not YOUR call to tell her what she should or shouldn't sing and singing a secular song does NOT mean her gift is being wasted! Your comment makes other Christians look bad.
