    Thank you for the interesting series. I like the abus 72/40 a lot. And you're lucky that yours have this nice bitting. I never thought that a tension wrench can make this kind of damage, so thanks for the warning.

      Yes, stupidly I didn't think. I have since sanded the wiper blade wrench down so it behaves nicer to my locks! That bitting was annoyingly challenging for such a lock too. Grrr

    I enjoyed this video very much. I have that same lock. a bit different pinning but I found it illusive as well. Once you get a feel for the lock though, it gets easier to read it.
    again, excellent video, thank you for sharing.

    Nice job on the ABUS. I made the exact same tension wrench for this lock.

    I knew that's why I couldn't pick this Abus 72/40 LOTO. My hooks aren't nearly deep enough so I overset most of the pins getting at 5&6

    • @LockNoob
      @LockNoob  5 лет назад

      Yes, you need a medium hook most of the time with these :-)

      Pick Beard, it's finally over. Truthfully, I didn't enjoy doing a series like this so much... my vids are normally more organic and not filmed because I have to to finish a series of locks. Still, you live and learn :-)

      They can be pretty camera shy that's for sure! This Abus had some of the nastiest bitting I've seen too, which didn't help :-)

    have you picked the 72/40 with the keyway that spells out Abus? It's pretty evil!

    • @LockNoob
      @LockNoob  8 лет назад

      No, but I'd love too see that

      Your channel just has so many beautiful locks. I checked out your latest vid and that keyway is hilarious, I love it! It would be great to pick one of those, if you want to set up a trade, PM me or use the email in my vid description :-)
