I'm definitely buying it, but I fear that the lack of game types will make the game get old quick: no cage matches, no backstage areas, no 3 vs 3 or anything beyond 2 vs 2, no tag ladder matches, no guest referee....I hope that they're working on adding some of these in the near future, there's not enough match types for the fun to last long. 😕

Im definitely copping this. It brings me back to the WCW/NWO Revenger / No Mercy days before there was even a GM mode. Just a fun, arcade wrestling game.
Well Universe mode always have broken title record stats. So far I know AEW FF will have title stats, so if it's not broken like with 2k then it's an upgrade. As in Universe Mode I end up booking all the matches anyway. While cutscenes start getting too random and repetitive. Who knows, they might add something later on. Still, Season and Universe modes are really overrated. Imagine stories yourself and put exhibitions, as long as stats stay it will be great
Kinda surprised they didn't add the ROH , iwgp, and the aaa tag titles. I don't watch enough of adub but they couldve at least got the champions correct. The Bucks of Youth bave been champion is a long ass time. And its been like 2 years since jericho was the adub world champion. As far as I know darby hasnt been a champion is a good minute either. I'm guessing Toni Storm isnt in the game then.

There was an FAQ posted yesterday where they said to “stay tuned” regarding match types. And then there’s Stadium Stampede coming at some point.
