I am writing this here because there is not a single person in my life with whom I can be this transparent and share whatever I feel.
Probably I will again fail this time because I again made the same mistakes and I thought I have resolved those problems. But from last 1 week I realised actually I was just running and running without even realising I am not in the going in right direction. This will be my 4th attempt and 3rd serious attempt. I have no friends in my circle with whom I can ask for help. And now my family is asking me to look for a job and they are right time is running. My friends even tell me to keep preparing in a very sarcastic way and says mujhse nhi hoga chahe jo ho jaaye. I am diagnosed with OCD and depression and took help from psychiatrist at AIIMS patna for more than a year. But I don't know there is something inside me which always ask me to believe in myself again and again. I will start from begining from the very basics again with more n more simple way to tackle out my problems one by one and to learn from my mistakes. I don't know what future will bring all I can do is put more n more effort and stay honest with me. I will take every step carefully this time. I will rise again. Channel like insightias please stay with us people like me need people like you.
    Peace.

I have been through depression too. Clinical depression. The best way to deal with it to think positively. Exercising has helped me immensely. Shield yourself from people who bring negativity in your life. Cut them . especially friends who put you down. And build some skill side by side for other exams. Nabard grade A aaega abhi. Dede na. You will feel confident.

And Parents think they(my friends) know more ethics than me and have valuable life as compared to me.

Connected with the girl's part... felt like someone just read my life's book and portrayed it to the point! UPSC is one of a journey of life... everything (youth, career, family, financial stability) is at stake until one succeeds. Nobody counts the efforts, pain, hardwork.

I am preparing after marriage... The saddest part is that once a girl is married no one wants to know what her dreams are, the first thing I got to hear is 'jaldi baccha kar lena' on the next day of my marriage I was told this..i was very adamant I won't fall for this...It's going to be four years of marriage this year, I am preparing, I will keep preparing and I ll clear it soon... I wont let the society bog me down... All the best to everyone....#ShutTheNoise

This is the perfect representation of how a real UPSC aspirant who belongs to lower middle class goes through. Not less than being in a real war, because this journey can take everything from you-time, family, friends, life partner and perhaps your life in rare case. Nonetheless, this is what makes this journey fascinating. A true aspirant will chose to collapse but not to give up on UPSC. Love for LBSNAA is eternal.

baat upsc ki nahi hai.. ye har us person ko face karna padhta h .
jo bhi apne comfort zone se hatkar kuchh different , kuchh bada karne ki sochta h..
koi bhi aspirant ho ko bhi entrepreneur ho .
kyuki society or relatives ko ye baat hazam hi nahi hoti ..kher society se koi farq nahi padhta ..jab tak aapke parents aapko support karte rahe. sab jhelne ki himmat aa jaati h.
but jab parents bhi taane sunane lag jaaye....

From outside the aspirant look nothing different than a living human being but from inside or in his/her personal life they faces many things which is never said, never told, never understood, never visible moulding the aspirant as an irreversible process...only compensation is SUCCESS-nothing more nothing less - I BELIEVE

Specially if you belong to a background where people have very little knowledge about this exam or do not have similar surroundings then it's very difficult to carry on.. Most of the people you find around yourself tend to demotivate you rather than assuring you.. But, in this crisis youtube has been a great help to me and specially this kind of channels who are providing you guidance free of cost.. I am a mother of three year kid managing my family, left my well established job to pursue my dream... It was my first attempt, i have given my best but after prelims i cried line anything because there i am missing it by some marks. I recollected myself and then i realised that its a long battle ground and you have to have patience. Manzil zarur milegi par thoda waqt lagega. House responsibilty ke sath study manage kar pana bahut mushkil hota hai but i am trying hard to manage both. Slowly gradually achieving my dream. Hoping for the best.

Wakai me ye ek exam hi toh hai...magar bura toh tab lagta h jb koi aake apko ye ahsas dilaye ki apki bas ki nhi. Apne galat decision le liya.
I cried every day in this preparation. Log to ab bechari ki najar se dekhte h.
Akelepan se bhara hua journey. Family support toh hai but family se koi khulke baat nhi krta.
Bahut se aspirants h meri tarah jo ish video se relate krte honge.
Kya pata aaj ka akelapan kal ka uphaar ban jaye.

I am suffering from this situation. I didn't involve any job due to this love. But now I have to a job to reduce my father's economic pressure. Because we don't have money to get admission in any coaching institute to study for becoming IAS. Now I still unable to pay the fees of such institute. Along with the work pressure, I am trying to do self study.

I have done huge mistakes in my 5 years journey. To be honest, I got so stressed that I Used to waste time like so much of my time thinking that I will become an ias but the ground reality is that you have to work hard and that where uncertainty is sky high. I still want to become but I know that I have to start everything afresh because I started studying without understanding the real demand and now I feel like I should go for MBA. I can't resist the pressure anymore. I have more of regrets and that is not helping me to move on in life. I still have two attempts but my studies aren't up to the mark. My optional is still left. I thought to do it in a smart way but trust me guys everyone gives 2 years proper preparation before their ist attempt. I kept on giving attempts without realising that I have so much to cover but hard luck. I was stuck in prelims. But now I am thinking to start from scratch but it is too late and I am scared because of the pressure. Tell me guys what should I do?? MBA where is the package is good or IAS?

Dear listen to what your heart says, if you want to pursue this you have already given 5 yrs to this you don't really need 10-12 hrs for this prep. Even if you want to pursue MBA you can very well manage to study for Upsc by dividing ur time judiciously. Nonetheless if you really want to become an Ias u must understand that ultimately you are going to have authority. Don't sit on the back seat, you are the driver of your life. No opinions no advice is needed, if you want to use your attempt give it all you have.

Great 😅 this is called emotional selling.
    1. Someone from an orthodox family, emotionally and economically challenged, from the slum, an orphan etc are shown as aspirants. Basically you cannot be an aspirant or at least don’t belong to the customer group of Insight IAS if you don’t have a struggle in your life. (Indian idol strategy)
    2. Thanks for showing the struggle of a normal aspirants, rather than cashing on to it and preaching, why don’t you reduce the course fees ?
People spend years and life savings for this competition, stop this emotional blackmail.
