amazing tutorial. if you get time will you do a modular platformer and a top-down tile set tutorial on affinity? Maybe Affinity have some nice tools and features to make things quite faster than Inkscape
Thank you for your videos. I love this one. I'm trying this technique right now on a photo of a dog. I can't find any help on the web so far on managing a large number of gradients, copy and pasting gradients, etc. So far, I've been having to click on the second stop, and then get the eyedropper tool for each of my triangles if I don't want the second color to be white. Do you have a video or tutorial that might help me get more proficient at this?
You are welcome! I am glad you like the video. I like to create and recuse gradients as much as possible. Rather than work with just two stops, I add darker shades to one end and lighter shades to the other. That way I can extend the gradient with either the Node or the Gradient tool and show the area I want on that shape. When I reuse it, I just move the gradient to get a lighter or darker tone. I used it for shading and depth in this video: ruclips.net/video/a2Iopv6YSzY/видео.html
An underrated technique. Nice video showing how to do it.
Thanks 👍Glad you liked it!

Noted! I will give it a go - once I worked through the list of tutorials already recorded that need editing ;)
