Been listening to hypothermia since i gone deep into those weird DSBM bands, and finded this gem, this is truly the best band i've heard along with other kim projects there are lots types into this "depressive" music, but hypothermia just makes you learn to think, meditatr, appreciate, pattience, or get mentally out of this new world problems and just enjoy a moment laying hearing this... representation of the void this makes you want to stay in an eternal journey of riffs and emotions, even if you wanted to end your life at that right moment, this emotions represented, depression, melancholy, devotion to the void, sadness, pain, angst, calm, anxiety, bitter emotions and a lot more.. makes me want to still alive just to experience more of things like this, this songs, this albums of hypothermia, consider suicide, lifelover, and some of kall, are beautiful, no matter how depressing they are, how empty they make you feel, empty, but filled with emotions in a perfect way.., a void that cames from endless suffering, they are beautiful, this is truly art, it's just a life journey through emotions that i could play my entire life on guitar, i will never stop listening to this band till i die, no matter how do i feel or where i am, , narcotic metal is a thing so perfect, thanks kim, you have made lifelover and hypothermia, this two projects have kept me alive, for real, when i can't and don't want to keep distracting me from pain, with this, i hug pain, and accept it, and i concentrate on breathing, and i feel more piece, every song, every album, a master piece, thanks for all kim.
Akkrath Sorg True in many ways, but the first Hypothermia albums are very hard to listen to. What I like about Kim's latest works is how organic they feel; he really got better at conducting improvisation.
Hypothermia was one of the first bands who I listened of Depressive Black Metal, and I've listened some works from this band and this album is the best. Take me to another place, where my emotions and feelings that I have, come out of me, and all the problems that I have don't exists. Make this with music is more than music, for me it's art.
This even reminds me of things like old Neil young and such ...just beautiful, introspective, evocative music. After "B " passed away I disconnected from all things "Lifelover " ...glad I bumped into this recently, in this case there is definitely Life after Death.
