Hi Josh, just came across your channel, I love the way you present the property and objective review is super useful as we have a sea of hotels and confusing to choose from. Multiple videos from the same location helps us to filter and decide what we want. Thanks❤. I have a question though, Is Maldives in your radar because we're planning for this year!?
Thank you for the kind feedback and I appreciate the support. If you have any suggestions on how I can improve my content I’m always eager to listen. Have a wonderful trip to the Maldives. The Ritz and JW are on my list there but it’s just too expensive with the extra fees they charge for the seaplane. But hopefully someday it will work out Lord willing 🤞
@@gogotravelwithjosh - ah, ok. thanks! I’m visiting Dubai soon and I’m stuck between the edition and the st. Regis the latter of which you rated slightly higher. For the st. Regis, it looks like the bathroom has sliding doors. Do the sliding doors close and lock? I’m going with a group and we are sharing rooms, so would prefer bathroom doors that lock. It would be awkward to walk in while someone is showing since the shower is glass. Lol
I would definitely recommend the St. Regis over the EDITION if you can only stay at one. If your referring to the St. Regis Downtown, the bathroom, even with sliding doors closes fully. Privacy was no issue.
I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time at The West Hollywood Edition. Would you be open to rating Edition beds compared to Ritz and St Regis from your memory. Which is best for hot sleepers? It’s been years since I’ve stayed at st Regis and Ritz
Edition beds in my opinion I’ve found slightly more firm than St. Regis and Ritz Carlton. For hot sleepers I recommend lowering the AC temperature because all of these hotels have thick duvets. Or else remove duvet and use sheet or light blanket. You also can request at some hotels like Dubai Edition a cool foam pillow
@@gogotravelwithjosh I’m unsure which to purchase as my annual elite benefit - Ritz bed - St. Regis bed - edition bed Due to not perfectly remembering I was gonna take a gamble and go with St. Regis since it’s my favorite brand by FAR. And description says it has air cool technology with coils to not trap all of your body heat
I think St. Regis bed then is a good choice, since you have good memories with the brand and it has the air cool technology. Out of the three EDITION beds are my least favorite as they are more firm.

Have so much fun on your trip! Dubai is best place for new years!!
The room is decent but wow! That balcony view is amazing. We're going there in November and have been considering this property on our short list.
Nice! I hope you really enjoy and ask for or try to book a room on the Burj side.
Amazing!!! Beautiful hotel!!
It really is a beautiful hotel! Hopefully you’ll have the chance to stay here someday. Thank you for watching!

Nice modern luxury dubai hotel, bro.
Editions are very bare but very lux and impressive
Did you purchase breakfast with the room? If so, how was it and what options did you have. I can’t seem to find a menu anywhere 😩
