I had just spilled a little water on my keyboard so imagine the panic when I discovered that my touchpad wasn't working anymore after the fact. At first, your fix didn't work for me. Then I looked carefully at the function keys and found out that my touchpad toggle icon was on the F10 key, not F6. I pressed it and bam, my touchpad was working again.
Thanks bro, u really saved my father. He disable the touchpad and i was searching for half an why his mouse was not working. For a sec i genuinely thought that the laptop was asking for servicing.😅 Your video got me thinking if he had touched this button accidentally. After that he was accessing previous youtubers why they hadn't mentioned this before in their video. 😓😊

Went into system touch pad was turned on went and tried updating drivers for keypad and mouse and saw it was updated, deleted and reinstalled the drivers for keypad and mouse still nothing saw this and it worked, thanks man😂😂
