Every time I go commercial hunting, I find multiple holy grails. As far as furry interest goes, fine design and virtuoso animation are the hallmarks of what makes a character beloved by the fandom, and these commercials have the above in spades.
Come and learn about old commercials, old brands, and a bevy of the most beautiful bovines you've ever laid eyes on.
This is my second 'Top 10' list, and I plan to do even more of them in the future in order to showcase some of the wonderful treasures I've found.
About FFF:
I've been doing FFF for many years in a live, at-convention clipshow form, but I decided to take the plunge and start sharing with the internet at large why I love so many of these animated movies and shows so much. There's always something new to find, and I have oodles of things I want to talk about with you all!

Also I agree that the auditioning cows tend to look more interesting than the laughing cow. It doesn't help that laughing cow holds literally the same expression the entire time she's on screen and it looks weird.

I was vaguely familiar with BonBon's marketing and their theme park.
As for the Pepsi commercials with the farm animals, I'm wondering if the lone rabbit on top of the TV set was supposed to be a joke on how old TVs were topped with "rabbit ear" antennas.
Wow, I also love that UK laundromat cow and the "too artificial" one from that final Laughing Cow ad.
The Lactaid Cow failed to make the cut. Darn.

haha i remember that boddington's ad! i remember being completely blown away that they got such an obvoius blowjoke joke on TV but this was an era of really raunchy "Lad" type humor in british ads, there was also the "you can taste our love in every swallow" Virgin cola ad at the same time. Really interesting to hear the backstory about how much the public lost its mind over this one!
It's fascinating to see all this old pearl-clutching discourse about udders cropping up again and again.
What a coincidence. I've been looking at some laughing cow commercials. Gotta admit, I always found her creepy. Like there's some eerie about her.

Also the genderly confused cow at the beginning of the video kinda reminded me of Otis the cow from the Barnyard cartoon series.

Being a fan of cows, the topic of this one compelled me to watch your channel for the first time. Hello! Great stuff.
But #6 is not from Denmark: It's from the Netherlands, and they're speaking the national language, Dutch. (The two are sometimes confused because they're of a similar size and culture. Also, "Dutch" and "Danish" both start with D.)
Also, the name of the product ("Smultietjes") loosely translates as "feast titties". The rest of the narration is: "Smultietjes! Funniest candy in the whole world!"
Now that I've watched a bit more, I stand corrected! The company that makes #6 *is* in Denmark! However, all the ads I could find for them are in Dutch, certainly for the market in the Netherlands (and maybe Dutch-speaking Belgium).
I'm guessing there's a lot of cross over with some regional ads, and many are often translated in other countries. I just went with Denmark because that's where Bonbon Land is located. Thanks for the input, and the translation!
@@FurryFoundFootage Hejsa, Dane here! The ad is translated into Dutch, but the brand and park is Danish. The original name on the package means "Big Boobies". The person on the left in the picture you showed getting photographed with the cow is Linse Kessler, sister to Danish boxer Mikkel Kessler. She's primarily known for her large fake breasts, so that's why she had that photo op.
Cowey! Now that takes me back. It also had its ads in the back of Donald Duck magazine. And it's worse than you said: It wasn't made with OJ and milk, but OJ and whey. A waste product! It was declared the worst discontinued product in 2013 by 38 % of the votes in a poll conducted by the website of TV2, one of our biggest TV stations. Frisk Energi means Fresh Energy, btw.

Really great list. I recall a few of them from previous discussions, but others were welcome surprises. A few times I exclaimed "holy shit" at a some of the ads. I'm betting you could guess which ones. I know I've said this before, but the level of research you put into these videos is commendable. Good work!
It's almost as if the commercial makers forgot that only female cows hive milk and decided both genders do. I love the double meanings in the Laughing Cow commercials. Both the big black cow and the cheese made is TOO HEAVY! Cows like the Artifical Cow must be wishing they had their own product to show for like a creamy milkshake. The Bonbon booby cow really gave my eyeballs a surprise. If only we could see more of those sexy cows on actual products.

I'm enjoying your appreciation of the art of the animation in these. Laughing Cow has to be depending on nepotism. Very little appeal.

15:28 Before this they made a Mixed Media Puppet show called Round The Bend (1989 to 1991) that was pretty much a prototype Robot Chicken and just like that few years later Nickelodeon Show Kerblam. After that they made a 6 part show called The Winjin Pom so they made for Fury Stuff than this set of Ad's.

Also i think thats that one brand of candy we got, we even got a themepark around it, called BONBONland.
Basically, its a bunch of kind of naughty or obscene characters, we got, funny candy names such as skidmarks, seagull poo, soiled diapers, dog shit.
Its pretty funny.
I havent found any commercials for them but are you familiar with Mattel's short lived "Gorgeous Creatures" dolls from ~79-80? I first learned of them when saw Cow Belle on depop, of all places, a few years back tragically out of my budget and she (as well as the other three in the collection) have been dolly grails for me ever since. They are so darling and unique for a fashion doll, they really look like something you'd find from the art toy scene these days and the artwork on the box is SO! CUTE!
I own Cow Belle pristine in box, got her about 5 years ago. I absolutely love the doll line, one of the best imo.

The "laughing cow" never really looks like she's laughing. She looks like she's making some kind of wide-open-mouthed grin with bored eyes. And it's even worse in animation, she just looks like she's got lockjaw, and can't close her mouth.
Cowey very much is one of those seductress characters and her Jessica-like hair style and shape adds to it.

I'm pretty sure the UK version of the third advert had a female presenting cow (still with a deep voice though). Cows have deep voices, so that makes sense to me.

The very same! The glue is derived from milk, not hooves, contrary to popular belief.

It seems kind of awkward that you need to label them as like a trans masc cow or whatever. I don't think the creators were taking it anywhere near that seriously.
Yeah, it's more likely a case of them just fucking up animal anatomy, like when people put antlers on female deer that aren't supposed to be reindeer, or a pouch on a male kangaroo.
(though I will admit that my brothers and I used to jokingly refer to the Barnyard cows as being trans back in the day, lol)
