Mooie video weer heren.
For things like under the car. Boost water pressure, put the nozzle on fog, and slide it directly under the it. Not sure if you guys have attic nozzles, the metal tube like attachment that has a cone with a point at the top that you can push through a ceiling and turn on and it sprays water out in a fan to get to a fire burning in an attic, but those work good under cars too.
Need to boost the water pressure though. More forceful water will pull the make it harder for the oxygen to keep it going.
Great work though guys.
Sometimes you just got to get on the ground and reach all the way under with the nozzle and get it where it needs to be. Car fires are hard when the last little bit is under the car.
Nice One Lunteren Volunteer Fire Brigade!🚒🚒👨🚒👨🚒
My 5 year old loves watching you guys. He really enjoys being able to see what you see. I need to read him the cc translations
So professional you must visit the UK and show them also , Thank you for sharing your video's best Wishes to your team. Clive
Yet another nice one 👍 Well done guys.
Sorry for the build quality of the BMW 😉
Cheers from 🇩🇪

This made me laugh: "Where's the engine hood?"
This made me think: "Well, it disappeared."

Good to the the channel back! Well done Lunteren Fire Brigade! Big wave from the UK :)
The captions are very well done. Thank you.
Hello!
It's very good to see you guys back. I come from Slovenia where volunteer fire stations are in almost every village and very good organized. I do have a question about how does the system at 39.03 work?
Keep it up guys!
I believe it is a system where they can indicate 'spoed' (Emergency) or 'geen spoed' (no emergency) in terms of availability. I don't know what the colours mean though, so maybe they can explain that better haha
Hulde weer 40 minuten of fame. I love it
Fantastic job as usual. Great job!

Lekker bezig
Mooie video
Blijf dit super leuk vinden
Lekker gewerkt weer gewerkt heren
Super gave video weer mannen!
👍
Tridimensional fire, powder + foam!
Goed werk geleverd mannen!
🇬🇧
What is the name of the music in the end? Great video
First
Question on the use of the Foam, On other Dutch fire streams , I noticed that they use Foam as one of the main attack lines, I think this is the first time I have seen the guys use foam and it was from a special tank , while from what I can see its direct from the main tank, is there a reason for this ?
It depends on the safety region, some of them have foam on the engine, and some don`t. The VRU has fased out foam on engines, for VGGM I would know, and VRF (where channel Fire 24/7 is) is still using it. The foam is not good for the enviroment.
amazing footage just provide english subs would make your viewing 10x better
BMW…Burned My Whip!
I think the fuel tank is plastic type material like a gas can and the fuel in the tank is burning as it burns down it melts the tank and it seems to be burning from the top down like a candle
Tolle Videos👌👍Gruss aus der Schweiz🇨🇭 🫡❤
The hosemaster could do with a longer delivery hose
Is It Privately Owned?
I am very curious how those SCBA masks work and how good the seal is on the face. It does not seem like it would be very tight since it connects to the helmet and not around the face. If the helmet gets bumped it looks like it can break the seal on the face.
I am used to US style where the whole strap system for the mask goes around the head, and is tightened, then the helmet is put on over. Helmet can get bumped, but your mask is not losing a seal unless something really bumped the mask.
I know the Euro helmets are almost custom to the head but there still has to be some movement on them. The masks look to all be universal size and left on the trucks, unlike US where usually everyone gets a mask that fits their face and they keep it with their gear all the time and it’s their mask.
I think they attach similar to the masks in jet fighters. They attach to the helmet, but are pressed against the face by the straps. Basically, the helmet becomes the traps you are used to.
They are also "refurbished" after each use (you see the "occupational hygiene" vans in some of the videos, they collect the dirty clothes, masks, empty air bottles and bring fresh ones), the fresh ones are in a plastic bag and unpacked only just before use.
@@realulli they do. Your right. But at the same time it’s not the same. A mask for a fighter jet is a constant flow pressurized mask, the seal is not important as it’s not made to be sealed to the face.
An SCBA is not constant flow, when you breathe you cause the pressure drawing the air from the tank into the mask. When you exhale, the regulator closes and it’s forced out a different part of the mask.
The seal is extremely important as if it’s broken, you can’t get air until it’s resealed. It’s like a SCUBA mask. The air comes into the mask only when the wearer inhales. If it was supplying air constantly, the tank would be empty in minutes.
Firefighting tanks are usually 35-45 minutes or air, and level of physical activity and how many breathes the wearer is taking affects how much supply that have. If they are doing something and are out of breath the entire time, a 45 minute tank may last 10-20 minutes. If they are sitting still not moving. They may get the full 45 minutes or longer if they control their breathing.
So a seal on the mask is more important that a fighter pilot that is getting a constant flow of air regardless of how heavy they are breathing or exhaling, air is the same. Fighter pilots get oxygen, just like a hospital mask. SCBA are filled with regular filtered air from the environment.
@@realulli and what I meant by the masks being on the truck, I figured they are cleaned after each use. What I meant was it looks like there is one size for anyone that needs a mask. In the US departments normally issue a mask to each member of the department as there are different size masks. Like S, M, L, XL. So the department member is issued the best fitting mask for their face so they will always have a good seal on the face. They keep them with their turnouts so when they are at work, they have their mask, sized to them, not a random one that maybe too small or too big for their face and that’s what they have to use. Then after they use it, they clean it along with the rest of their gear.
Our SCBA system has its pro's and cons. The masks are indeed connected to the helmet. The mask itself has straps to tighten it to the face ( - I cannot place full links, please consider adding a business email to your youtube channel, this way I can show you :) ). You can make the mask as tight as you would like. In case of a leak, for whatever reason, air always gets pushed out of the mask cause of overpressure. Pro is that you never inhale smoke, con is that you run out of air fast. Theoretically; Yes, it is possible to knock the mask of the helmet when really bumping into something. Practically; I have never seen it happen, the connection to the helmet is pretty sturdy now a days. Another example of the helmet being removable with mask is this video where a dutch firefighter lost his air tank, which is a whole other story though. ( Search on youtube: "Plv. commandant Martin Evers over de problemen met de luchtflessen" ) As you can see in the video the mask stays connected to the helmet even when he really tried to rip it off. The pro of this system is that you can get your mask on pretty fast, where as the US system takes 20 seconds.
We use this system approx 20 years in the Netherlands (we used to have the same system as the USA has) and I have never heard a single case in which a colleague lost his mask.
It is a faster system and it makes it easy to put on and take off (when you are outside again and need to talk to the chief). It makes it much more stupid to be inhaling smoke so people are taking less risks and are putting on there masks (I mean, you don't want to be stupid, right?)
Hello Brandweer Lunteren!
What type of camera did you guys use?
Thanks!
1,000,000,000 times more efficient than the Americans 🎉👍🏽👍🏽
I have to dicast fire trucks like wun yoo ride in from machboxs
What’s that thing in 39:06?
Was this a electric car that was on fire?
Diesel.
