I just want to thank you for your videos. I stumbled on your channel right before Christmas when I was looking for some slow cooker recipes. Well your channel has changed my life and my 16 year old son life. I was ordering out way too much for us and never knew what to make for us. I had no motivation to cook. Well, I have now watched every single video you have posted and I got excited about cooking and using my crockpot again. 12 years ago I used it all the time but life got in the way. I can now say I just finished my first 2 weeks of crockpot recipes and tomorrow morning I am making the cinnamon roll French toast bake you recently posted. (My son is looking forward to it) Of course I plan to keep one day a week for pizza night and another up in the air to eat leftovers. But there is more…..not only did you motivate me to start cooking but you also motivated me to organize my kitchen. We are living in an apartment so no pantry a not very many cabinets so it’s challenging. I have already organized what was in my cupboards but I also plan to purchase a cart for kitchen to put microwave on and will get one with drawers and cupboard to help with more storage options. I have lots of ideas for storage and purchasing little bit of a time. I just want to thank you so much for motivating me to cook again, clean and organize my kitchen. You will never know how much your videos helped us. Thank you for posting and sharing your meals and family with us.
My fiancée' is somewhat of a picky eater and 95% of your meals are right up his alley. Your videos are going to make my marriage a breeze, girl! Thank you! Awesome dishes this and every week!
A little tip when cooking anything that has a heavy boil -- rest a wooden spoon across the top of the pot and it will prevent it from boiling over. Love your recipes.
The Mongolian beef was really good! I recommend trying this. it is quick and easy. after my husband and I ate this, it dawned on me all the additional ingredients you could incorporate. snow peas or broccoli, baby corn and shredded carrots. diced chicken tenders. the variations go on an on. Thank you for this recipe!
Fantastic meal ideas. Meals cooked at home are always the best. Plus my tummy is happy. The perks of cooking your meals at home is simply no tummy issues. I am not a big fan of eating Chinese food in restaurants. I can't handle the msg that is in the food. It cause my body too much issues, like migraines and inflammation. So I just cook it at home. When it comes to eating I prefer to eat my meals at home.
Hi Mandy! I've recently come across your channel. It's the perfect channel as I'm always trying to come up with new, easy ideas for meals. My family is made up of 3 as well. (hubby, my 17 yr old son & myself) I don't normally leave comments but tonight my husband said I had to.😂 I made the Ground beef Mongolian noodles. Oh my word!! His response "Oh my gosh. This could be the best thing I've ever eaten. I could eat this every day for the rest of my life." He is currently chowing down on his 2nd huge helping. Thank you for sharing amazing ideas!!
My mother used to make dumplings out of canned biscuits. She would roll the biscuits out, cut them into strips, and drop them into boiling broth. So good!
I love Gracie Lou! I’m not even a cat person, but I just love her little personality. If I rescued a cat I would want her to be just like Gracie Lou. 😻😻😻
Mandy, I just found you! I am really enjoying your videos. I’ve been cooking for years, but I love finding and trying new recipes. Tonight I made the Ground Beef Mongolian Noodles. O. M. G. It was delicious. Have a blessed weekend!
Mandy, I was born and lived my childhood in Arkansas, and the first time I made chicken and dumplings for my husband I used canned biscuits, that is how my sister taught me. To this day, he still remarks about those dense dumplings. Mind you, we have been divorced since 1978.🤣🤣 I love biscuit dumplings, but I have since learned to make a fluffier version, not using biscuits, but actually, I like them just as well! So kudos to whoever gave you that recipe! Gracie Lou is just like my Penny Girl, who is a Chorkie (Chihuahua Yorkey mix), she will actually refuse her food until I put a little cheese in with it, doesn’t even matter what kind! 🥰
I have made that salad for years with just broccoli. My recipe calls for mayo, sugar and white vinegar for the dressing. Mix and pour over the salad. The dressing is to die for. Try it, you will love it.
Omg I made the ground beef Mongolian noodles last night, I think my husband fell in love with me all over agin 😂 he wants me to make it again on Saturday. Thank you Mandy you are changing our dinner habits big time, no more take out.
These all look good! I'm trying the casseroles you made from earlier this week. I'll let you know how I liked them. Gracie got a lot of screen time today!🤣 Hope you're feeling better. Have a great weekend! 😁
Hi Mandy- These recipes all look delicious. Gracie Lou is a lucky kitty to get her cheese when she asks for it! I hope your headache went away quickly. 😎🌟
You may already know this tip, but for the Instant pot insert to be still while cooking, you can clip it with a large binder clip (find in office supplies) and it will stay still while stirring. Of course, you just remove it before putting on the lid. I don't remember who I heard that from, but I do it now and it works great! Can't wait to try these recipes. YUM!
I love all three. Does he ever not like anything you cook? Lol Gonna fix the Mongolian noodles for sure. Steve was very convincing to me. Lol. Thanks Mandy.
That crack chicken and dumplings looks delicious. Years ago using and old style pressure cooker, my grandmother was making chicken and dumplings and her pressure cooker blew up and she had dumplings all over her kitchen!
I have made this salad for years and I have discovered some options : you can add 3/4 of chopped pecans or golden raisins or drained canned corn or chopped tomatoes (remove seeds..dont need the extra liquid) and if you need to stretch your mayo, you can use an amount up to 1/2 of what is called for of ginger ale or pineapple juice. Dont let it get too soupy. The liquid will not be totally absorbed. Can be chilled overnight. Travels well, loved at family reunions and Family Night zsuppers at church.
Do not be tempted to add billed eggs or raw mushrooms...dont know why, they just dont go well with this. Tried mushrooms, they looked like they were old and tasted like dry cotton balls.
I have a simular Cauliflower recipe. ..cauliflower (broken in small pieces not large pieces) onion bacon chedder cheese then make the dressing in a bowl. 1 cup mayo 1/4 cup sugar stir and pour over the above ingredients do not stir...can be served in several hours or overnight. Stir before eating.
I just tried this and it came out great. I added some yellow bell pepper, onion, and matchstick carrots add a bit of veggie to the meal. It is so good, I am going to try the sauce on some other stir fries. It is just that good. Thank you so much for these videos. My mother and I love watching them and I get such great ideas.
I love that Gracie wants her cheese!!! My Bambi is all about her little bit of milk!!!! She acts the same way when I take out the milk!! It's like she can hear me taking the container OUT of the fridge!!!!!! Silly cats!!!!! I LOVE it!!!! Who says cats can't talk???!!!! I beg to differ!!!!! ❤❤ Pretty cleaver with the sleeve!!!!!! I am just now watching, Jan. 23rd. I hope you're feeling better!!!! Can't wait for the next video!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
I just finished making the Mongolian noodles and the cauliflower salad. My hubby is on his way home from work he is in for a surprise. I tasted it and I love it! Thank you for the recipes and the video.
BTW, just to save a little time in the prep, 4 TB is equal to 1/4 cup. Thank you all so very much for your diligent efforts to help us all out in the kitchen with all the super duper ideas for great dinners and lunches and deserts, and all the while "getting to know" such a lovely family!! Watching your videos always brings a smile to my face and a growl to my tummy!!!😊
That color top looks really nice on you and your make-up came out nice. Your eyeshadow looks good with your top. Don't get any oil from frying on it. All the recipes look good, I could go for the cauliflower salad right now. I could almost smell the bacon as you were frying it. Gracie Lou sure loves her cheese!🐱😃🎉
Try adding red grapes and sunflower seeds to the cauliflower salad. We have a chicken place in town that makes a broccoli salad what’s really close to your salad. It’s my favorite!🥰
All three look good. That Mongolian noodles really sounds good. But boy it really all is a thumbs up. Thank you for sharing these great recipes. Bless you all.
Made the Ground Beef Mongolian Noodles recipe on Friday evening. Really good. My wife said the recipe was a keeper. Thank you for sharing these recipes.
Hi from Canada! I made the mongolian beef recipe for supper tonight and I just had to come and thank you for the inspiration!! My husband and I were both raving about it!!! So delicious! I made a few changes based on what we had on hand. I used beef strips, added an orange pepper to use it up and a little bit of siracha sauce. Thanks again for the great recipe 😊

Hi Mandy, here's a recipe you need to try. It doesn't sound like it would be good but just give it a try. I used to have my original but Paula Deen has the same recipe. Just look up Pineapple casserole, instead of the chunks, I use the crushed. Let me know what you think. It's real good. Trust me.
