Great review. When my wife and I go skiing at Lake Tahoe, we always stay here for the day when we first get into Reno. Let’s us donate some money to the casino before hitting the slopes!
That National Automobile Museum is very big, has seriously exotic vehicles. And the Nevada Museum of Art is not far from the hotel either (in other direction).
This past week, during the heatwave, my wife and I did a 12 day road trip from Orange County up the 395 Highway to Mammoth, then to Lake Tahoe, then back through Sacramento, Monterey, San Simeon and back home. We stayed at three Marriott’s Victorville , CA, Roseville, CA near Sacramento and Monterey, CA. They are nice but basically the same= blasé.
@@YellowProductions completely agree. It’s ideal for certain times. You know what you are getting most of the time. We loved Harrahs at Tahoe. That was classy for about 220$ a night. We stayed three nights there.
Hi Chris. Thanks for the hotel review. Pretty nice place with some good amenities. Not a fan of that huge a/c right in the middle of the room. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thank you for the great review . I used to frequent Reno when I went to college at UC Davis because I loved playing $.25 Derby. But hmmm I don’t think I’d make a trip to Reno again since I live in SoCal now. 😂 Sorry Reno. However, now I know that the Renaissance Hotel would be a nice hotel and has a very cool restaurant where you can sit along the Truckee River. I’ll bookmark it just in case. 😅
Thanks J! Yes. I could see the trip from David to Reno.. but yeah. So Cal to Reno is a bit longer. Southwest does have a direct flight from Long Beach to Reno. That's how I got there 😀

I stayed here while I was house shopping before I moved to the area. I love this property.

That's the pro and con of Marriott for sure. You know what to expect. But it's often not very exciting
