We love the food on dcl for the most part, however I will say the food can depend on what they have available from suppliers and why they have regional/seasonal foods at times like European and Alaskan sailings have different things. Like the Dream is still using up tenders from a supplier that’s not what everyone raves about/what they usually have because they just came out of dry dock and before that was sailing Europe.
The in room Buffalo wings have me howling…have you ever seen The Nutty Professor when he dreams he’s as big as Godzilla taking over the city and steals a chicken wing to eat and it’s so small it looks like he’s nibbling on a tic tac? That’s what this is giving. 🤣
Really enjoyed this video...thank you!! I have a great appetizer for you to try at home. Buy phyllo cups from the market, they're in the freezer case, a wedge of brie and a jar of raspberry jam (or your favorite). Cut a piece of brie and put in the bottom of the phyllo cup, top with a little jam. 325 for 8-10 min until melty. Let cool off a bit before eating. Hope you try and enjoy. Sounded up your alley.
Really enjoyed this! From other vloggers I've seen I had the impression that all the food at the Disney Cruise ships was awesome. Seems like it's a bit of a hit and miss situation just like any other cruise line. Loved this video!

Kristen, you are a girl after my own heart! I love extra pickles on my burger and nothing like a soft steamed roll for the glizzy!! The broth in the Lobster Ravioli looks like the juice in a can of tomatoes! That tart does look like an over-sized nut cup cookie. Love them! Haha, they look like pigeon wings!! Totally get what you were saying about the feeling of Enchanted Garden. We sailed on the Fantasy and that was my least favorite dining experience- both in atmosphere and menu.
Guys, need to check some info. Lobster and shrimps aren't exclusive on the first day at Cabanas anymore. Cabanas isn't really great at embarkation if you're boarding after the first 10-15 boarding groups. And Animator's Palate with the animation drawing interactive activity (2nd time main dining) will be available staring at 6-nights not 7. I hope you covered the Palo and Remy.
As far as the Enchanted Garden meal goes…I think the disappointment had more to do with the fact that it was Pirate Night and I believe all the restaurants on the ship get the same menu for Pirate Night and from what I’ve heard, the Pirate Night menu is notoriously bad. So idk if that’s an Enchanted Garden issue or just the infamously bad Pirate Night food. I’m curious what your experience would be there on a non Pirate Night.

We loved watching this video and we were so excited to meet you at Jollywood. Tyler is 23 and has autism and he watches you all the time. I loved that he asked where your brother Ryan was. I have a quick question I noticed that you use a smaller handheld camera and Tyler He’s very interested in doing small Vlogs just for fun and we thought that would be a great camera to use because it’s light weight and since he has autism he has low muscle town. Can you possibly tell me the name of that camera you would like to get it for him for Christmas, again thank you so much for bringing us so much joy your videos!!

I have so many feelings about this video. To begin with 3 nights is way too short. I’m sad the chicken fingers were bad. I love to order on the pool deck. One of my favorites. I’ve been on 15 cruises and they have never disappointed. Disney cruise food is great when you order the right thing. Servers will know. Next time go to Palo. Always sauce on the side room service wings lol. Look forward to the island food comparison.
I live near the Atlantic Ocean in a seaside town. I tried escargot from the local Famous seafood house. They were like chewing on a cellulose sponge, would not dissolve at all. As for brie cheese, also my favorite. Love mine warmed and spreadable, with roasted elephant garlic to also spread. Amazing how roasting garlic makes it so soft and sweet.
I was on the same cruise at Kristen and I thought the food was pretty bad. Cabanas had some wonky NOT Disney chicken nuggets. They were horrible. They were not Disney nuggets, which I have eaten for 30 years. They were almost like pounded pork tenderloins breaded and fried. They were disgusting. Like schnitzel. Another person doing the back to back told us that the chicken tenders were leftover from the European cruises and that’s why they weren’t the usual - same for the Diet Coke and sugar free lemonade being very “off”. Also, the butter pats were European as well - so I guess they were working through the stock they had from their European provisions. I think that is total BS. WE pay so much we shpuld get fresh food! They had no cocktail sauce for the shrimp and the shrimp seemed off. We heard a Cast Member explaining the cocktail sauce situation to someone, explaining they were using up the rest of the European stuff before switching over. I thought Cabanas was very low quality. You can get a better buffet at a mid level casino in Las Vegas for $29.99. The desserts at Cabanas were just like the little tasteless desserts at the $5 Chinese buffet. the Vanellope's cupcakes were stale and unlike any disney cupcake I had before, because they were at least a week old and baked in Europe. The food on the islands was inedible. The only thing that was good was the chicken. Just so low quality. I saw plate after plate full of food going in the trash. And it was all cold. I won't be doing another Disney cruise.

butting in :-) But, we've done Disney cruises with and without our kids. All of the ships have 18 and over areas, so you can avoid most of the kids if you want to. Also- they do 2 dinner seatings at night. We found doing the 8:15 dinner has less young kids, too :-)

Luxury brands only change their strategies for the super rich...The price increases of Fendi, LV, Givenchy and the like are nonsense. Therefore, those ordinary rich people or middle- and upper-class people who can really afford it need to think twice before buying it. If they are just looking to save face, they will buy from kislux .

Every vlogger I’ve ever seen try the chicken tendies- first of all they always looked good, and secondly they rave about them like they are life changing! These looked AWFUL!! Like literally frozen Weaver chicken “tenders” (really just a longer shaped nugget)…yuck, unacceptable! I hope they are the good ones when we go on our cruise in a couple months! It’s like the number 1 food item I was looking fwd to!!
