    Just for decorum I want to point out that the traditional method of consuming high grade Mescal (in my experience from 5+ years of Mexican travel) is to not shoot it, but rather order a double and sip some, while in between dipping the Orange, lemon, bitter orange, or whatever fruit the Mescal is served with into the spice mix and taking it in as a bite after each drink. Just like how shooting tequila is mostly done with lower quality silver tequila, the finer liquors are usually consumed slower.

In downtown Marina Area, In luxury shopping centre and bank, I surprised to find armed security guard men stand. But I am very sorrowful to be prohibited that we can’t swim in beach, cause strong wave with steeper slope

    You forgot to mention CAPE TRANSFERS! When you book a trip to Cabo you will need (yes or yes) transportation from the airport to the resort, taxis are an awful mess, they will make you wait more than 40 minutes to get one and only to get an ugly van with no A/C!!, that is why it is better to book your transportation with anticipation online with Cape Transfers, they have very low rates and are super professional!

    Riding camels is not once in a lifetime experience it is a touristic thing. Many countries have this.

    • @squiggs1002
      @squiggs1002 8 месяцев назад

      Well it is once in a lifetime in that you do once and you will never do it again. I rode camels because kids really wanted to. But it was the most boring thing ever. The camels are all tied together and you ride in straight line. Horses are 10 times better since you have control of the horse and freedom of movement.

    The best thing to do in Cabo is go to LA Paz??? It's not even close to Cabo. And it's way more tranquilo...
    Cabo is a party town full of tourists. Mostly American and Canadian, the entire place thrives on tourism. They speak English everywhere and take US dollars. Everyone is incredibly friendly and you will find world class service in the right places. I feel perfectly safe in all areas (even where the locals live). But this whole country is run by Cartels so if you go looking for trouble (drogas) you will find it. Pharmacies and massage parlors are not what they seem. So stick to the resorts, if you're scared, but there really is no reason to be. They want your money, not your life.
    Go Marlin fishing and get off the beaten path, if you want to find the local eats. Amazing food town, art, silver jewelry, clubs and water sports. Swim with Dolphins. Watch the sea turtles hatch. Rent a jet ski or go parasailing. Golf is incredible. Whales migrate here, both human and marine. Nothing is cheap.

      Let me ask you this. How many visitors go to Cabo every year from the US? 2.8 million right? About 2 to 5 Americans die there each year. Now let me ask this. If you go to an American city of 2.8 million people. How many Americans die there every year? Is it possible for something sketchy to happen there? Yes. Should take precaution? Yes. But think about those statistics and make a decision based on that.

      When I went to puerto Vallarta Mx for 7 days. I was robbed at gun point for my wallet. My room was broken into by resort staff and stole a backpack I had with my belongings in it. I was scammed by taxi driver. They charged me $15 for a trip to a place and $75 back. Same distance. Except he tried to take us the long route to rack up miles. We caught him still had to pay. Was harassed every day on a the beach to constantly buy stuff. And drugs. I’ll never go back.

    Best thing to do there? Don't go!
    Used to be a great fishing village with reasonable prices for food and lodging.
    Now it's wall to wall condos and high rise hotels, all over priced. Second only to Cancun for tourist trap.
    Scammers and drug pushers galore, everyone out to make a buck.
    Food is ridiculously priced, service sucks.
    It is NOT a Mexican experience in any way. More like being in orange county.
    So many better places to go in Mexico
