But then Ardyn seeing this, in a spiteful mood he would use his darkness to permanently blind Ignis at the end of the battle.)

Wordz lord I think so. Even in the game it shows Iggy is blind, so I don’t think there’s any way to avoid it. And besides, the Ring of Lucis has great power that can only be worn by royal blood. What happened to Ignis was the same thing that happened to Ravus when he wore the ring, I believe. That’s why he wears that armor on his arm. So no, I don’t think there’s any escape from Iggy losing his vision, although I wish there really was a way. Poor Ignis didn’t deserve that.

Secret good ending is if you don't do anything when it says fight back, ignis doesn't go blind and noctis doesn't die, what a stupid god damn girl game, lol.
