Prayers for my work week. I am working on releasing resentment & anger… aka the urge to give people a taste of their medicine. I am trusting in you Jesus!
I am praying for my mum , my aunties and sisters, that God would be the one who sustains them. That He would be all our joy, as He continues to ever make things happen, as we continue to reach Him for His heart and not His hand. I thank God for the wrong doors He has closed in my life and the freedom He has me walking through.
Thank You, Lakewood, for bringing back Pastor Jimmy today. He stirred my faith mightily, more than one “ah ha” moment this morning. I am so blessed to be able to watch y’all every Sunday (sometimes both services). As you suggest in asking folks to give a year of their lives to see the affects, I can testify from the rooftops how much being a part of Sunday Service at Lakewood has done for my perspective and the pursuit of a deeper and more intimate relationship with God. My story is, I always knew God existed; my mother always stayed close to God even though we didn’t attend church I saw and heard her praying and always knew she had a deep and abiding faith. It took me to grow up, succumb to alcoholism for 35 years and make a huge mess of my family, before I became reliant on God. I believe my disease revolves around my thought that I could do anything I set my mind to, I completely left God out of the equation until I was brought to my knees by something I couldn’t control or fix. I made the choice to attend my first AA meeting (out of hope that it might help me in a court situation I had just encountered, a purely selfish reason either way) but in that first meeting, I knew I belonged there, I heard my story told through others experience witnessing God’s power right there in that room. If it is God’s Will, I shall be 9 years sober on 2/17/25. So I guess I’m not sure which way it goes for me, that God brought me to AA or that AA brought me back to God, an almighty amazing source of strength and courage for the woman in my life who shaped my entire understanding of things, i just am so grateful He is the most important thing in my life today. And thank you Lakewood for being a part of that.
I have a testimony, I thank God that after almost 9 months of not having an in-person church and community, the Lord guided me the last three weeks and brought me to Hillsong Luxembourg which I never knew was close by me. So thankful for this. My prayer request: That God would take care of and increase my finances in ways that would surprise me.
Amen🙏🏼 I don't ever Want to forget when Jesus healed me and my husband, I don't ever want to forget where I came from and I praise God for where I am today. I will keep picking up my mat, I am so blessed to have watched this sermon. God has been so good to me, do it again God 🙏🏼💚.

I thank God for waking me up this morning to breathe again 🙏 Amen ,on Saturday I had a anxiety attack due to stress I had to go to the emergency outpatient at hospital me and my 14 year old daughter, while I was there the nurse that attend to me why are so stress and I told her what had happened to me, that my partner for of 12 years at the time had another family and two kids and while we were still living together he married the woman for five years when I found out, she said to me that I was beautiful and God wouldn't want me to be this way my daughter and my son 💔 love me too much and must leave everything in God's hand everything in please pray for me for a financial breakthrough and healing I 💔 u lord. Hi Lakewood Church Community, first thank you for taking the time to read this comment. I am reaching out for prayer. Recently I was bullied in my place of employment. Cyberbullied, verbal and psychological abuse. This is the first time I have ever experienced such treatment in the workforce and there has been post traumatic feelings from these events. It has been hard to not want to take control of the situation and release/believe God will handle it. I am human, and as much pain they have caused me it is hard to not want *cue Taylor Swift song "Karma"* to pay them back. I ask this anger be released. I ask to no longer live in fear. I ask to no longer feel paralyzed. Fellow community, please recommend scriptures you may use for meditation, I'd greatly appreciate the help 💗
