EPISODE 5: "The Sound Engineer" - Robb Albrecht
Robb Albrecht has directed the sound for several of Opera San Luis Obispo's grand productions at Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo, where he holds the position of "Lead Sound Technician". Robb's productions with OperaSLO include 2019 Educational Gala, 2019 South Pacific, 2021 New Year's Eve Gala, and 2022 Carousel. It is quite interesting to consider when experiencing a live performance in a theater today, much of the sound we hear is professionally mixed by a sound engineer! This exciting video provides fantastic insight into that rarely explored world.
