Hey man i’ve been watching your videos for a while now and finally got a stock TL type s 07 auto, could you tell me what engine mods I should start with?
Hey D, quick question. Does removing the hood insulator make a difference on the hood's paint or keeping the engine warm in cooler temperatures? Or it's fine to remove it? Mine ripped above the serpentine belt side when the belt ripped off while driving. Thanks.
@@TheLifeStyle6 it would had been great content just saying lol. you wont fall short, the J series is so easy to work on. I did it myself for the first time and it wasnt as hard as I thought. Just watch Eric the car guy for guidance's.
Hey man I got kind of a dumb question but AcuraZine ain’t really helping out. My 08 Type S (AT) was stock the whole time I’ve had it and I recently added a new engine. Got new HFPC’s, an Intake, Rv6 Jpipe and I was thinking if I should go Mid muff delete, Dynomax Res and I was told to get Tune. Sound like a good route? But once I Hondata flash pro is there any thing further than that? I hear people talking of re tunes but I’m told Hondata doesn’t yield major results? (Other than making it a beast of a sleeper by putting in thousands to rebuild parts to make it more durable? not a car guy clearly 😂)
@@Zioni21 I had similar setup for a very long time without retuning so you won’t hurt anything. Hondata and tune depending on tuner, gonna run you 1k. If you plan on doing more bolt ons, do them all before tune to save most money. With no cats I recommend RV6 ultra quiet res and mid muffler delete. Helps contain rasp better.
@@TheLifeStyle6 Ah okok! Appreciate it! Last Question would be get the resonator or naw? Cuz that’ll make it stage 3 right? & how much extra HP did you manage to pull with that set up?
@@Zioni21 yes get the resonator unless you like the loud rasp. (I did at one time ahaha) never dyno the car but id say my FBO was hoovering 305-315hp. I have my FBO setup in a lot of my video description.
that shi look so clean best sounding tl ive heard
Man your TL keeps improving whether it’s performance or aesthetics. Like your style!
Thanks bro gotta keep the enthusiast in the game 💪🏽
@@TheLifeStyle6 I would love to see your car in person someday. Will be hard cuz I’m in Phx.

thanks glad to be back!

intake and exhaust flow gonna be the best entry level mods to increase fun of driving by 200%!
looking good.. I wonder if painting the intake causes heat to build because of the paint insulating the intake?
hey i have a scan gage and painted my intake housing and the temps have stayed the same its been over 2 years and no problems

I’d remove if it’s ripped fs , paint will be just fine the black cars get cooked in the sun everyday and hold up for years
Is the car still sorta daily driveable??
What’s a cheaper mod I can do to make my 07 base TL louder?
Mid muffler delete and high flow resonator
Thank you man
@@TheLifeStyle6is there any high flow resonators you can recommend? $200 budget or so
dang 4 weeks?! You could have pull the motor and handled it yourself, and it would probably be finished by now.
Duuuude fr but life been so busy tho didn’t wanna take it on and fall short
