Happened to me today. Light turns green and before I could even put my vehicle in first gear, idiot behind me was honking at me.
That's what you call impatience at its finest.
I'd have put my lights on got out and lectured them for 15 minutes on the virtues of patience whilst driving and then sent them on their way.

Driving licenses need to be restricted more, the amount of absolutely brain dead drivers putting lives at risk are insane.
@BlackCatsandPumpkins I lived in thailand for a while and some of the people that got their license with me really have no business driving a damn go kart let alone a car. They will literally give you the answers for the theory test just to get you out the door and dont even get me started on practical...

And what's even more amazing is that, even without the sign, any driver can see that in front of the truck it's a blind curve. You'd be risking your life to try to pass on that curve anyway! So, it was entitlement plus stupidity!

That was a multi-piece truck rim with a lock ring that was either damaged or not seated properly. When they start to come apart they often make a metallic creaking noise shortly before they let go. These types of wheels are still used in many parts of the world, but are no longer common in North America and Europe.
Definitely a split rim or widowmaker, surprised it wasn't inflated in a cage for this exact reason.@@TwinCoach13

I was the one who giggled when people asked about the tied-up seagull. That was George, and he was being a bad bird… I had the bite marks to show why he was tied up (just tethered by a leg so he’d stop attacking people. And hawks. And cop cars. And so he would stay OUTSIDE! We had a very close call with the fish fryer!)

You'd be surprised but electricity really "smells". Well, sort of. Try clicking a piezo lighter around your nose, just not too close - you don't wanna get zapped. But if I remember correctly from school, it's the ionization of air and not the actual electricity itself that smells. You can also replicate that smell with UV lights that are used for cleaning hospital rooms.

The guy watching at the renaissance fair, watching the two knights fight, was literally a half an inch from death.
Had that happen at an open for public fencing thing my then fencing club did.
Obviously the fencers were in protective clothing, but I was the only one noticing the blade broke a bit and yelled stop.
Everyone was angry at me at first, until I pointed out the now actual pointy end you are supposed to hit your opponent with.

@@JimYeats I say it because watching any animal trying to not die isn't really funny. Funny is subjective BUT fear of death isn't. It is a universal fear and to laugh at that fear in others, even animals, is, it is well known, a signifier of a psychopath. You're in worrying company.
