Finding your path in I.T. is the toughest part/decision. It was a career change for me back in late '19. Fast fwd 3.5 years and I am somewhat stuck in "help desk support," making a measly $42k. Yes, I am blessed and thankful to have a job, but where to go next(and more specifically, how to make the next moves) is the part I am struggling with.

I am on my 4th pension and hope to finish a degree in computer science at the age of 75. I just need a side hustle, but can I get a job at 75 with no experience? I just want entry level stuff.

How bad is remote Help Desk Tier 1 for a small managed service provider? 10 hour shifts, low wages. Second shift and loss of half my weekend every week. Should I snag? Or finish schooling and certifications first and wait for a better job. No idea how many tickets they have per day. Helping end users not professionals. Has anyone been there?

I have a bachelor's degree in management information systems. I graduated college in 2020, faced tons of hiring freezes, been looking to get my foot in the door for the first time 3 years later. Someone please help, give me some resources, someone I should contact for orientation to get into this field. thank you!

It's never too late to start learning! i suggest you start learning the basics of computing and networking, then choose your path from there. IT is a broad field!!
