I never understood why people treat reading as a smart person hobby cause it’s straight up just a medium of entertainment and has its pros and cons
What are its cons :p
@@lucasmesquita2160 well one con is it’s inability to use sound and deepen a tone with it, like how video can
Seeing a movement is also there as you can only describe so much about a scenes surrounding and characters expressions
@@Kalossupremacy3356 A video lessens your use of imagination, and deteriorates it in the process. It in essence makes your brain lazy. It’s not a con, its it’s biggest pro.
@@minecrafter3448 argument can also be made that you are analyzing a scene more in video since it isn’t directly stated like in books
I don’t believe one medium is superior to another just the contents it has
For example watching a science documentary would teach you more that a light novel such as grimgar
@@minecrafter3448 you're acting like imagination is the most important thing ever. Can't even think of any jobs that require the use of imagination (drawing isn't a job). So in short, reading doesn't really help you much. Maybe helps your eyes, but what if you go and play sports. Doesn't help much then
