The 4 Best Extinction PVP & PVE Starter Base Locations in The Extinction Sanctuary Starting Area

- This guide for Ark Extinction will show you the best Extinction PVP starter base locations and the best PVE starter base locations in the Sanctuary Central starting zone. I will show you the best hidden PVP base locations for secret bases, and the best PVE base locations for building larger bases for tribes out in the open. I will show you the locations of these top starter bases with map and GPS coordinates, and show you where to find these starting base locations when you first spawn in, so you can go straight there when you start on Extinction.

Honestly, as a singleplayer person, those massive flat areas on the ramps look like great locations for bases. I was so happy to be able to make massive base on Aberration's portal because of how flat it was, but was disappointed by how the structure above the lake wasn't considered solid. So I watched this video to see if there was any large flat areas like the portal, but closer to water and the center. Glad to see finding my next base location shouldn't be too hard.
Oh yeah I love those flat ramps! Some of them actually have water sources right on them too (although a lot of the fountains and waterfalls in Extinction are sadly not drinkable). The great thing about the Sanctuary is there's SO many buildings you can build on. Some of them are absolutely massive. Although I have been loving living on the little broken bridge for starters. I made a taming pen using the existing ramp and tamed a beaver at a super low level since they live in the swamps below there lol.

Thanks! I'm so glad this was helpful :) Choosing a starter base is one of the most important decisions you can make but I'd say you really can't go wrong with any of these. The ramp base is probably the safest spot on PVE, but the pillar has better resources. The hidden bases near those are very similar but excellent for hiding on a PVP server. I'd love to hear which one you end up choosing, and how it goes living there :)

@@ArkSurvivalGuide yeah I would have been a perfect solo base location do you know any other base locations that are hidden like that for solo players on that map
The fourth location in this video should let you build in it, and that's very well hidden, and far more spacious :)
P.S the first base spot was my fave
Nice :) I love this spot. If I had this guide when I started, I probably would have gone for base#1, then moved to Base #3 after that. But they're all great spots.
