your recent videos have been very helpful, thank you for taking the time to put this information together. i've been playin on and off for about 2 years and i still have trouble understanding what stuff does in this game.
I dont think it has been mentioned but the shield from the white balls that two-tone ring provides does not sinergize well with the elemental necklaces, since it blocks the auto-elemental proc that it gives you every 5 seconds if you have the shield on, basically making you lose 50 elemental damage in some situations (if you are using elemental pants too), it is later fixed in a future patch, but watch out for now if you are using 2 of these pieces together.
Hello. I wanted to provide my input on the mp burn build and how it was to use it. For disclosure, I was a specialist using the culmination core blade, shock/light pieces, heightened fury necklace, two tone ring, rhombus earring and shadow black coat To be honest, this build was powerful but i felt like it didn't work well with specialist because he does use awakenings at times so it can really hurt your mp reserve. That combined with my love of using skills makes it really painful to maintain mp. As such, I am personally transitioning to shock/light core build. It also fits my philosophy of sustain damage over burst damage Edit: also want to add that there are magic stones that also convert damage recieved into a specific element which works with the element bottoms
If you're speedrunning through a dungeon, the Mana Burn setup can definitely hurt your MP pool. But in a sustained setting (or even on higher difficulties where you're not one one-shotting everything), you shouldn't have as many MP issues. And if you do, Reversible Coat should completely fix it. Also, the magic stones aren't recommended since: 1) they still require you to actively get hit by enemies 2) they are strictly for survivability (by forcing enemies to deal a certain element while you stack that element's resistance), and don't offer any damage increases
I was going to include it, but upon testing, I found it difficult to maintain above 90% MP on the three characters I use this setup on. If you can manage your MP effectively, it's quite good though.
should we be grinding dungeons on master or expert? just wanan know what the increased epic chance is and if its worth running higher level difficulty dubgeons
Master if you can do it, the option levels are higher on any epic drop which means stronger epics and more exp when you use option fusion to fuse duplicates.
@@grayspaghetti7827 I’m still fairly new myself (actually returning) but from my understanding if the piece you want to use is low fame then you don’t have to use dupes and can use any other piece for the base exp cuz it will give significant gains to a piece with low fame. example: you find the elemental bracelet you need but it’s only 800 fame. you can go ahead and feed that almost any bracelet until it’s about ~1100 fame for a dmg increase or to get into new content/difficulty For higher fame pieces that you want to use you should def only fuse dupes or other high fame pieces with high level matching options. (but not higher than the piece you want to grow as there is a chance to get double exp ONLY when feeding lower into higher) example: my weap is 1500 or so fame rn. i wouldnt feed it anything but dupes/same class weaps or another weapon with a high level matching option 3 or 4 as option 1 and 2 are class specific. im vanguard so I used halberd but i can feed it a good beam spear, javelin, lance as option 1 & 2 are the same for fixed option epics in the same class. if the option levels are all like lv1 then just diss. again, unless you really need that piece lol hope this helps. sorry if i got anything wrong
Just wanted to say thanks for all the amazing work. As a newer player one of the most frustrating things about this game is the serious lack of documentation and guides, so this is extremely helpful. A question: I'm currently putting together this build and running Storm Rider as you suggested, but I find that the health gain is barely noticeable. Currently I only have the engineer belt, shoes, and reversible leather top, is there a certain threshold where the MP costs go high enough for the healing to jump up?
I'm glad it helped. As for the healing on Storm Rider, it does depend a lot on your class. Some classes inherently have higher MP costs on their skills. For example, my Monk healed quite a bit of HP very quickly with 375% MP Cost Increase due to having relatively low cooldowns and higher-than-average base MP costs. I'd certainly gauge how useful the heals are for you on your dungeon runs and go from there.
@@SynchroneityDFO Ah yeah, that makes some sense. Idk if it's a case of Asura MP costs being lower or maybe I'm just too used to the Rosenbach set heal so my standards for what good equipment healing looks like are skewed lol. Thanks for the reply!

Getting back into dfo and these are a lifesaver
Bro that sneaky ichika nito music in the background 👌🏻
Really well done video! Would love to see more build theory crafting videos.

Well i'll just have to go with this option as it will get fixed later on. Thx for the heads up tho.
This was so incredibly useful, thank you!!!
Editing goez crazy :bat: :chestnut:
Dayum, the editing 👀
nice video mike, i would like to see more of that, i'm 100% lost on equipment farm lol

Hello Mike, did you miss the sub equipment 'Touch Panel Control' or you don't recommend it?
I was going to include it, but upon testing, I found it difficult to maintain above 90% MP on the three characters I use this setup on.

@@SynchroneityDFO I will try it!
Love the video thx for all the help I feed so many of these pcs trying to get higher fame fml😂

Am I crazy? Where do you get the reversible leather coat?? Can find everything else...
It drops specifically from Luciferre in White Land.

I wonder how long does reversible leather coat buff last. Is it until death ?
Yea, you can potentially die in the first room of a dungeon, go into hero mode, and then clear the dungeon with 0 HP and a full MP bar
Yes, until death. It's honestly a pretty neat effect.
"MP+3500 on every attack" means only basic attacks or skills aswell?
A confirmed hit on any attack, skill or otherwise.
Does this build work with blood mage since he has a weird blood mp combo?
It sure does. He won't be able to burn through his MP as quickly to get bonus DV, but it's still very powerful.
Too much text for me QnQ what happened to ... get 5 piece makes you run fast and shoot lightning
Are you using a mod for SST?
If you mean a visual or sound mod, nope.
