Chaotic neutral is so much better than 2 horizontal though. Like I can have 3 different apps open at a decent ratio and see all of them with just one small glance over.
It's so nice for college. I'm able to write on the horizontal monitor while looking at a larger section of an article on the vertical. Carter hasn't tried it
@@Snow.ed_inI use horizontal when I want multiple tabs of code open, but vertical otherwise. I see more and it also physically reminds me (earlier) when my lines start getting long.
@@Callsign_viper100literally means nothing, you know every comment you could fathom is published on RUclips right? There is no such thing as originality.
My current setup is LN, I'd prefer, as you said, two horizontal and one vertical. That's the setup I had at my last job, and everyone was amazed at the fact I knew how to turn the monitor both physically and in the settings
With an old touchscreen laptop, lawful neutral is the best option for art because you can see the overall piece that you're working on in the big screen and zoom in to get the space you need to draw on the touchscreen simultaneously. No need for wasting half your time zooming in and out constantly to check how your changes look on the overall piece
2 horizontal side by side and one vertical next to them (preferably smaller so it's not too tall) is the best. 3 horizontal monitors just take up too much space. I've been driving that setup for years now and I would recommend it to anyone who has the budget.
Actually, I’d argue chaotic neutral (one normal one vertical) should be higher, specifically for if you work a lot. My father works with a lot of documents (cuz administration) and its genuinely really nice to be able to use the entity of a screen real-estate, and seeing the A4 sheet in full size.
Chaotic Neutral is what ive been running for 4 years, for anyone that plays a lot of Destiny having a vertical monitor is awesome for DIM. Besides that i prefer it for webpages, discord, Spotify, etc. honestly if you only have 2 monitors and don't primarily uses the second one to watch RUclips or shows while playing games just flip that shit ive never regretted it
Chaotic neutral is underrated here, you can have several tabs stacked on top of each other but they are still the height of a normal tab. I use it for music and web scrolling on the regular, very nice
The neutral good setup is at its best when you need to be able to accurately compare, but otherwise it’s just hard to use imo. Lawful Neutral, with two distinct screens is at its best. One “sub screen” that has all the extra information, like study notes or game wikis, while the main screen has the activity
Chaotic good being ranked higher than neutral good is crazy. You can get a lower performance monitor of the same size as your second screen and it will feel better to use while still budget friendly
when programming i like having chaotic neutral. vertical to look at my code, and horizontal to sort through the stack overflow tabs that i’m not gonna close.
I think neutral good can be best if its for work (assuming your job doesnt require monitor fidelity) and both of them are cheapish monitors. Any more monitors than 2 would be clutter, and ive used chaotic good before and its uncomfortable. For personal use i agree though that chaotic good or an ultra wide monitor (my pick) are your best options.
I have a big ass curved monitor and a vertical next to it, I'm an Admin data processor, so I have notes and spreadsheets open all over the place and I find this setup works best for me without being obnoxious on my desk
I have chaotic neutral, monitor arm isnt long enough for chaotic good (I'd end up blocking my speaker) and I only use it for discord and sometimes guides or the GameMaker manual
I’ve got an ultra wide curved monitor as my main with a vertical standard sized one to the side of it. The amount of RUclips I can watch at one time is astonishing
I prefer lawful evil i dont like turning my head left and right. And if i sit back in my chair a little its no issue with my neck. In fact very comfortable.
My actual setup is LN usually but kinda TN because I had to unplug my 2nd monitor and didn't reconnect it quite yet. If I had the budget though, CE would be my setup.
OK but I use a laptop and a full size TV. If I'm gaming I have the game running on the big screen and background stuff on the laptop + xbox controller. If I'm working/ making art I do my work on the laptop with either reference material (PowerPoints, websites ect.) or a video going in the background.
I have a combination of neutral and chaotic good bc the monitors are the same size but diferent manufactures (even the stand is diferent and my left one is a smart monitor)
I have Lawful Evil and Neutral Good One 34" Curved wide screen as Main 27" on the Right for Steam, Discord, 2. Browser etc One 24" on 'top' of main for Browser to watch stuff while gaming. And then later on I bought my 3rd one, so that's why
I use chaotic neutral because because I don’t have enough desk space, but upgraded my monitor and now I have two (I actually have three, but again not enough stuff and one of them is literally 720 P resolution)
i got two monitors, one is a 1440p ultrawide and the one to the side is a 1400p 16:9. I put the smaller one on an arm and I can turn it side ways and use an AHK script to change the orientation with keybinds. I suppose that means my set up is chaotic good with the option to transform to chaotic neutral.
I have three different sized horizontal monitors (one is a 40” tv) at different heights side by side, with three laptops on my desk, one is a server, one is a gaming laptop, one is my work laptop, and I have my main desktop pc under the desk
I have chaotic good but the "good monitor" is actually a 50-in flat screen TV that we got on sale and I think is less money than my actual monitor which I use as a second monitor where I have background applications running like OBS and RUclips
Ive my setup is a mix of chaotic good and chaotic neutral. Good gaming monitor in the middle, a vertical monitor on the right for discord/pdfs/long scrolling content, and a smaller shittier monitor on the left for secondary applications like a webbrowser/taskmanager/etc.
vertical monitors are good for social media doom scrolling and docent viewing. I have opinions on where vertical monitors have been placed in the alignment chart
I have a three monitor set up. One monitor is a 20 inch drawing tablet, the second monitor is an iMac, and the third monitor is a 55 inch TV mounted to the wall.
