I love your Seattle house! I have the opposite problem to many - I hate the hot weather, I'm always waiting for fall and the cozy days lol. I get sad when summer starts getting near. medium to high bun is better, but low bun would work better if u just let out two front pieces instead of bringing too much volume to the front. so a more slicked back low bun and a messy voluminous med/high bun 🫶🏻

I used to build models out of basswood for architecture school and my hands would get SO DRY! I had to used the thick medicated hand cream just to get through finals week. 😩
Have you thought about using claw clips? I was a pony tail/bun girl but then found the constant pulling and elastics bad for my hair so went the claw clip route. I like your packing method, very similar to mine: deer in headlights while your Boo does the rest. Hahaha.....
