  • Haven't got the proper equipment for a proper overhead shot but i hope this gives you an idea of learning how to play the intro of Faith. The sustain parts are very hard to get right as you need to press the pedal just before you start playing different chords. Recorded into a Zoom H1N direct from the D-550. Again C-38 Cathedral Organ was used off the Roland D-50/D550-PN-00 factory card.

Some of these covers were so accurate that RUclips's copyright system automatically pulled the videos. They've fixed it now.

How many of you people didn't realise that this is actually a slowed down, instrumental version of the chorus from the old 1984 Wham! song "Freedom"?
Because I didn't until someone pointed it out to me. I feel like such an idiot.

I kinda thought so already, but I thought I was just hearing things. Now this comment has confirmed my ears were correct. 😊😊😊

Can you show what keys you are pressing exactly? You cover them up and beginners (like me) can't see.

      @jaggass  3 года назад +6

I'll try and convert the audio onto a midi file so you can see what keys i'm pressing.

I think B B/D* E C* D* E F* x2 I'm not entirely sure as i figured it out by ear but this may help. These are the chords on the Freedom chorus [Chorus]
      C C/E F
      I don't need your freedom
      Dm C/G G
I don't want to play around
      C C/E F Fsus4
      I don't want nobody's baby
      Dm C/E F C/G G
Part-time love just brings me down
      C C/E Bb/F Dm7 G
      I don't need your free..dom
      N.C C
Girl all I want right now is you. For Faith it's one semitone down.
