Does your rear brake have electronic brake ? Or is it a pedal , I was told by a mechanic he can't do it without a code scanner if it's got electronic parking
It’s a 1/2” on the brake calipers, not 13mm. Caused me to strip my bolt. Suggest you remove the video, can cause people a lot of extra work and headache
@@BrianBalatbat if I put out an instructional video and was wrong about the bolt / wrench size, I’d take it down. Especially if it could cause people big problems, but that’s just me I guess
@@joshwigginton9881 first of all they are 13mm, watch other videos they say 13mm as well. Someone problem replaced yours with a different size. Second, you should make your own RUclips channel if you want to do it the “right way”
Dude just use common sense , if it's North American car use the standard first then move on to metric if It's doesn't work out . 1/2" is pretty damn close to 13mm (1/2"=12.7mm) I've had it work on both you should Really use right tools , use a good 6point socket instead of a low grade socket , I've stripes many bolts using crappy 11point sockets or whatever the hell it is . 6 point always saves me metal.
Thanks for this video. You took away all the guesswork. 👍
No problem glad I could help
Thanks! So helpful!
Thank you super much man!
No problem!
Is it necessary to break in the new pads after installing them?
Good video. Thanks.
No problem!

Nope, we'll not on my 2018 suburban, it's just the simple pads like in the vid
Which brake pads did you use I’m doing mine tomorrow
I don’t remember, the customer picked it out. Any auto parts store will carry good quality brake pads as long as it’s not the cheapest one.
No grease?
Thx
No problem!
Didn't turn rotors?
Customer didn’t request to.

You can’t tell me to remove my video because you stripped a bolt.
