Henry is great but when doing breakdowns like this he should do more research, this whole video started off wrong bc his frame of reference to show Khabib's evolution was the Trujillo fight which was a mistake. The reason is: Khabib has said before that he came to that fight with a leg injury so he couldnt use his legs as hooks for control, which is why his approach to win was just taking Trujillo down over and over again without trying to establish control on the ground. Henry kept pointing out that Khabib was not using his legs for control but if he did some research he would've known the reason why. Of course Khabib was still green in his early UFC days and evolved a lot since then, but to show that evolution in a more accurate way Henry should've used some of his other early fights as a starting point, like his debut vs Shalorus or the fight vs Pat Healy.

Khabib is the GOAT 1. 29-0 never lost a fight, dominated all of his opponents, just barely "lost" 1 round vs Conor when he thought he'd see how his striking is with him and even then he landed the far crisper, harder shots on Conor and in my opinion won that round too 2. Routinely has come back from long lay offs whether due to injuries, suspension or religious obligations and it has never affected him, no such thing as ring rust with Khabib. 3. Was ready and willing to take on 5 different opponents for his title bout unlike Jon Jones who flat out refused to take on Chael Sonnen on short notice, something which was a first for a headlining UFC fighter! 4. Title defences aren't a good measure of greatness and here is why. GSP got his first title shot in the UFC after 2 wins, lost and then got his second shot after 5 wins. Jon Jones got his title shot after 3 wins after a DQ loss. Now compare that to Khabib who got his title shot after 10. If Khabib was given the opportunity to fight for the title as quickly as GSP or JJ he'd have a bunch of defences just like those guys. A lot of people who keep shouting about title defences from the roof tops are VERY narrow minded. 5. You can COMBINE all the facial damage Khabib has taken from his 13 UFC fights and it will be far less than what Jon Jones and GSP have taken in a SINGLE fight. 6. Khabib does not have the judges in his pocket like Jon and GSP do, Jon to Reyes, Gus and arguably Santos. GSP CLEARLY lost to Hendricks, was deflated during the announcement of who the winner was and then decided to retire knowing he got away with one. 7. Khabib has never tested positive for any substance, meanwhile Jon has multiple times and pretty much has a pass to pulse as much as he wants, him testing positive should withdraw him from GOAT talks alone! 8. Unlike Jon, Khabib doesn't rely on a MASSIVE height and reach advantage whilst fighting midgets like Jon does. Even with Jon's height and reach he can't keep himself getting outboxed by Cormier every time. 9. There are no pictures of Khabib busted up looking like a bruised clown or in hospital getting treatment after a beating like there are of Jon. There are no videos of Khabib limping out of the octagon after taking a beating from his opponent like there are of Jon. Khabib may fly like an eagle out the octagon but certainly not limp! 10. Khabib did all this in the MOST stacked division in all of MMA. Simply the best. Khabib is the definition of domination personified.
Jones later accepted the Cheal fight with a messed up foot and finished him, Kbob was ducking Ferguson for 3 years wanting la real estate taco agent and McNugget. What 5 make believe people was he fighting for the title 😂 LW is also not the most stacked division nor has it ever been, everyone besides Charles is a specialist from 1993
Point 2) He routinely pulled from fights and missed weight. That is the definition of letting that effect your career. Jones had 17 fights in his first 8 years to Khabibs 13, Jones went to jail multiple times and had more fights. Title defenses. Jones had 7 UFC fights before a title shot. Dominated those fights 7 fights, 1 decision. Khabib had 4 decisions and fought some dude named Darrel Horcher 8n his first 7. @@reddevil9311 Jones won the title in his 14th MMA fight, and spent the time after that fighting the best of the best. Khabib, for all his dominance, didn't have a run anywhere close to that. Who else only had to defend 3 times and peaces out with the most dominant stock in the game. It makes him more of the GOAT because no one else can defend just 3 times and stil be the GOAT for many. If anoher fighter never so much as bled, got cut, not a scratch, barely lost a round never mind 29-0 then there would be two GOATs. The man doesn't need another fight - what would another prove in the GOAT conversation? It's as perfect as is humanly possible.

when CCC said Khabib had enough of the leg kicks and just went for the Takedown it just showed how good Khabib was that he could just be 'wreckless' and go for it knowing that he'd get it for sure... I feel like Khabib coulda done that anytime and just finished his opponents quick but he prioritised the safety... its like finish really quick while being a bit wreckless and theres a chance you can get caught or finish him patiently and do it safely and methodically with a 100% success rate..... Khamzat so far has been doing the wreckless and just finish him it seems
Khabib is very calculated especially in his later years. Khamzat currently doesn't really have those fight IQ. He will have it, but his coach need to do his job

What 5 make believe people was he fighting for the title 😂 LW is also not the most stacked division nor has it ever been, everyone besides Charles is a specialist from 1993
He didn't lose that third round against mctapper
Point 2)
He routinely pulled from fights and missed weight.
Khabib faced 5 fighters ranked in the top 5 of the UFC LW rankings in his career.
Jones faced 15 fighters in the top 5 LHW division.
I'd keep going but your points are just too easy to refute.
@@DADRB0B55 bro finish elementary school before going on youtube . Not even your mom understands the shi you're writing
@@app369 Jon spent most of his career beating middleweights and washed up LHWs and the dude popped 4 times for PEDs 💀 That cheater shouldn't be anywhere near the goat conversation
the goat &no im not talking about khabib 👑
Great job
No breakdown with Khabib fighting Johnson and barboza? These fights were 🔥🔥🔥
His technique on the ground and in wrestling, second to none
The most dominant fighter we have seen for sure ❤️
@רחבעם Nope
@רחבעם Jones had few close fights whereas Khabib was always dominating his opponent
@רחבעם Khabib for me
@@reddevil9311 Jones won the title in his 14th MMA fight, and spent the time after that fighting the best of the best. Khabib, for all his dominance, didn't have a run anywhere close to that. It doesn't matter why way you look at it, his resume is just leagues better than Khabibs, and that makes him the GOAT for me. I'd also put GSP higher, for similar reasons.
@@BigDoniel Perfectly said bro. Still got Khabib in my top 5 but Jones is untouchable
This video is brilliant.
Props to Cejudo for staying awake.
It was a bit dull. Olives, much more enjoyable
When I watch khabib I always focus on his head position. He has his head always so close to the other fighter. His head never gets space from his opponent.
It's crazy how you don't have way more subscribers you are truly one of the best to ever do it and you share your knowledge for free wow 👏
Just pretty much started his channel
Henry, you are no less than a GOAT too. Much love❤
Henry Cejudo and Dominick Cruz are the two best MMA fight analysts by far! 🏆
Love this Henry. Good job triple C. I always wonder how you would break down khabib's fight esp with Conor. I thought you would never do it since he's retired... You guys see each other right? He doesnt have any plans at all coming back for atleast one more? I mean GSP was gone for 4 yrs? He came back.. so.. why not? You talk to him about doing 1 more fight?
I loved when Cejudo won the rematch against Johnson and for me he is the BW goat!
I’m a diehard Khabib/Islam fan and this breakdown was legit.
🐐 🦅
Love this series
He fought 3 different style extremely high level fighters. And dominated them all
Oh fuck yes film breakdown
best marital art beakdowner!🔥
Khabib dispatched him so easily looking.
True, but Conor did well compared to other fighters.
Khabib has the best defense in mma. He’s never taken any damage, no bruises, and no blood. That is the greatest of all fighters.
That is because he drags them on the ground so they can't hurt him.
@@CristanioPeweyyyThats Just Not the case here. We got Thousands of elite wrestlers like usman, colby, cain and DC. Yet they all get hurt, bled, droped and Even finished multiple times throught their careers unlike khabib who Never bled once in his whole career wich is absolutely crazy for such an unpredictable sport.
Only an olympic wrestler as Cejudo knows how hard it is to wrestle. Cejudo is definitely qualify to do Khabib breakdown.Great breakdown triple C
Has to be Goat. Only person I can think of who you have as dominant and clear favourite to win 100% of the time whatever the opponent welterweight and below
He never fought at welterweight only lightweight. Only defended the belt 3 times, he's great but hardly the goat.
@@SilentSix My point remains despite those facts. Do you think he would be the underdog against any welterweight? Or the underdog against any Lightweight? Always will be the favourite to win welterweight and below. Can see him ragdolling Khamzat even
@@salahdewan433 It's clear you don't know much as you thought he fought at welterweight despite having never fought at welterweight, and whatever I say you'll just schill out to khabib. So you enjoy your day.
@@SilentSix No where does it say i said he fought at welter. I'm not sure what to say to that. You can only reason with someone reasonable. You missed the point.
@@salahdewan433 however you need to sell it to yourself kid.
I definitely see Khabib as the GOAT in MMA. People might say Jon Jones, GSP, etc, but Khabib's conditioning, skills, and record speaks for itself.
GSP lost a few times, but Jones is definitely the goat. Khabib stopped too early to be the true goat
khabib flawless and dominant make him the goat
That guy took Khabib down for the first time ever, and I think he ragdolled him on purpose because of such.

First fight shows you how strong Khabib is.
I enjoy this content. Kind a bummer miss edson fight 😂
U are a smart man ccc....❤❤❤❤
DP is really the only light weight who I think could have ever got Khabib his striking was deadly enough to eventually sleep khabib
Wisest wiseman in this game. Dana needs to give him the shot at 145.
Khabib is more than just a GOAT, but he is more than we think...he is an eagle that flies high and can dive down into the sea into the mountains.fighter 29-0-Coach-Has EFC-
Need more in depth analysis of Khabib and Khamzat.. Their dominance is one worthwile studying..
Hearing from the guy who is been there is best
when CCC said Khabib had enough of the leg kicks and just went for the Takedown it just showed how good Khabib was that he could just be 'wreckless' and go for it knowing that he'd get it for sure...
Khamzat has shown that hes very elite and could easily be a champ but hes just not On khabib's and khabib's crew's level
I disagree with the Abel breakdown, I just think he wanted to humiliate Abel in wrestling and rag doll him all over the place.
You can disagree sure but it also means you are wrong.
@@modest1989 naa there was definitely some of that. Listen to their presser. And then he goes and takes Khabib down. Khabib just wanted to show him who's boss here. He kept allowing him to get up, he never aimed to finish him on the ground, just humiliate him. He was just showing off. This is straight up ragdolling.
@@fahadus I was just being silly I didn't even make it that far into the breakdown hah
yeah agreed. Khabib only like use that simple grappling/wrestling skill to punish Abel. He wont even showed him the leg lock yet. Imagine Khabib had many things to show to us but there are still no opponent up to his level until his retirement.
Khabib was angry because abel was the only guy who ever took him down
