Prolly already commented this on the Jermaine ep, but man its so cool seeing yall shed light on the city. Grew up in Baltimore and had never seen the wire (mostly because I was too young) Turned 24 this year, and finally watched, and man.. it's my favorite show of all time. The show is like no other, on all aspects, writing, acting, etc.
Thuliso wasn't a part of the older boys group so they wouldn't have anything to talk to him about as it pertains to their time on the show. It's Mack Wilds who we want to see.
17:30 I remember seeing that radio interview he mentioned and thinking this was like the sweetest little kid, cracking jokes, the complete opposite of Kenard lol
kenard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kenard had to be 10 there is a great channel on yt that shows vids of the history of baltimore by the time of the wire, there were tons of pre-teen hoppers 14 year old kenard would not have been shocking.....10 year old kenard was just like the scene of wallace caring for all the young hoppers in the vacant there is a great vid on yt with thuliso and the kid who played bugs, where they are both 12 and discussing their roles on the wire i really wish that someone would do a prequel....homicide, the corner and the wire are all about the end game of system failure no one has really done anything to show how cities like baltimore were set up to fail i will say it a million times...the entire cast was brilliant, but the kids and their arcs had the most impact on me
i remember when you guys reunited on Zoom during the pandemic haha. amazing.
