This campaign is perfect binge content for me while I'm doing my prep to run Witchlight. Eases my nerves a little bit to see this carnival brought to life. this my first ever visit to this channel and you all are wonderful, fun characters, stellar rp, great DM!

Same here! im running witchlight for the first time this sunday and im so nervous because there is just SO much, but watching this has really helped me grasp what the carnival is supposed to sort of be like and bringing it to life as you said!
The production value of the story is stunning both character, dm, set up, everything is so amazing. The carnival and characters feel so alive! I can’t wait to slowly make my way though this beautiful story!!
Very wonderfully done with improve skills as a DM and cast, as a forever DM I found myself struggling to keep the carnival whimsical with everyone that works with it has some kind of tragic backstory. After watching this helped tremendously to keep the carnival fun and stay with the whimsical vibes without making the carnival feel like the one from Van Rickten Guide.
Thank you! I think the trick is to lean onto the melancholy of the loss or as an itch at the back of your soul rather than true tragedy. This adventure is at its best when you lean into the fairy tale stuff.

Thanks for the content. I’m going to run this soon and on my read-through I thought the roller coaster was the most punishing and least thematic of an otherwise cohesive chapter one. I’m curious how this will play out.
Absolutely. I would suggest either completely revising it or cutting it completely. We're a few episodes ahead and I honestly hate asking for the saves.

When the time comes later, “you see *spoilers* and are reminded of your roller coaster ride”. Disadvantage for checks, attacks, etc if they failed during the ride. So much foreshadowing in chapter one. Idk.

Kelly unintentionally made the roller coaster harder. You're only supposed to give them exhaustion if they fail on three or more of the checks, but he stopped it after one.
What's the link to the tabaxi fox race that Hayden is playing? I love her characters personality, it's very similar to how I would approach it. (I think, I don't have any1 to play with but I'm familiar with how to do roleplay, performance and I catch on quick when it comes to games. I joined a youth circus when I was 7 so some of this is right up my alley)

DM is pretty good but everyone else here is kinda stiff and wooden. Wish they'd engage more instead of being mostly passive. Like, the DM has to keep throwing them softballs to even get these players to do most things. They're acting like they don't remember the entire plot hook of the campaign!
Where did the candy come from? I don't see that in the book and now I'm panicking. And did the party meet witch and light before the crowning of the monarch?
Don't worry! I added the candy as a bonus because it felt right. And... as for the meeting, I can't honestly remember as it's been almost a year. I think the first time they all met Witch and Light was in their room. I believe it was briefly at the start of game?

lol, I LOVED the snail racing, that was utterly brilliant. The bit at the end where the snail gets distracted by thrown lettuce was adorable.
