MRP(maximum retail price). It implies that goods can't be sold above MRP but can be sold below MRP due to price fluctuation.
Even the Kaka Sada MRP is only Rs.7 but charging Rs.10 is every Chumu shop. Please help us (Kaka Sada Association)

We will have to look for labour charges, Transport charge, shop rent, electricity bill etc. So some items we will have to adjust ,many will say these and that ,but many people don't know how the shopkeeper run there shop. To make all customers fullfill or happy not so easy. Thus the reason.
Shopkeepers buy in wholesale rate n sell in retail price so there's profit in every item..n they don't bring only one two items so transportation, labour charges etc sop make up huijai

@@headhunter678 whenever price of unfinished products decrease specially in the producer level, the rate of MPR will come down. Maximum Retail Price is fixed by the companies for the finished products and it get distributed in the retail market through suppliers and wholesalers. So if the price of commodities in the producer level decreases, surely MRP will decrease. So MRP is greatly affected by the supply chain.

Last week near nst gate I brought one maaza from ₹90 but the actual mrp is ₹70 the shopkeeper charge me ₹20 extra....till now there is no change in dimapur 😥💔😢😢

Once I come across in a footwear shop in Dmr, the shopkeeper/Salesman was asking Rs 900 and last price was 700s something on a little child Chappal, so i showed him the price tag which is Rs 290 on it. But surprisingly his respond was "the price tag in it is fake due for GST". I know he was lying and this things are just normal in Dmr, for the safety of public concern authorities should check regularly.
