Same license as any other asset on marketplace. This asset will save you at least 6-12 months of development, you just need to focus on story and assets like character models and visual effects.
Oof this looks amazing, just starting my final university project making a diablo-like game and this has more than what I am aiming to accomplish in the 12 weeks ahhhhhh as indie the competition already is immense but if people can just buy a pack like this and have a game made so easily... scary

Hello, I have messed around in Unreal in the past and always wanted to toy around with making a game, even if it never was sold to the public. I have a couple questions, and yes I tried to watch some of the video's on the template, but to save possibly hours of my time I thought I'd just ask. 1 - Can all new assets be brought in "easily?" Walls, ground, trees, water, weapons, armor, characters ect? Marketplace 2 - Can Spell effects be changes "easily?" Marketplace 3 - Any chance a square or hex grid can be added to combat with movement limitations ect? 4 - Can I change UI styles, like bags, spells, slots inventory ect? Marketplace 5 - Can I make up abilities and add movement actions to them, like jumping, casting, working, ect? 6 - Can I change range of spells/weapons and how much damage they do? How AC workds, HP ect? Thanks!

@@FEV369 Yes you can place your assets in the template, that is the whole idea of it. I provide the code, you place the assets. Documentation explains everything in detail. My other template where I used grids is also well documented and customizable but nothing can close to this one. I also update this one monthly with new features.
I found this quite interesting. M new to unreal. Can you please tell if I can "recruit" soldiers and take them to battle, more like Age of Empires? Likewise, can I "build" houses, castles, etc, and can I assign some of these "recruits" to gather resources like gold or wood from tree?
The Pain of being a fresh indie dev with no money and little knowledge coming across wonderful templates and works that have incredibly built mechanics deeply akin to what your looking for. only to realize everything in this world costs $$$.. :( oof
@@PhoenixMarketUE Honestly not horrible, I'd definitely try and catch it on a sale but not bad. You do get a lot done for you, just depends on how in depth the stuff is and if you can modify it easily for what you have a vision for. Nice asset though!

Necromancer / summon pets, and gamepad support -)
Harvestable Resources like lumber, stone, Iron Ore and gems. Also Factions and Animal Taming / Resource Harvesting. Like getting eggs from a chicken.

Yes, everything is in data tables. You can modify the existing ones or create yours very easily.

how long did this project take you roughly before you decided it was ready to upload on the asset market?
A year in idea phase and 9 months in development. When I started developing I already knew all the features and roughly how to implement them.

No, this template is an ARPG more like Diablo rather then an RTS template.

This is not a game. It is a template for Unreal Engine for people to start building on it. Only PC is supported by default.
