I'm loving your Kylie videos. Please do more. I have been a fan since I was 9 in 1988. Younger fans will just never get to enjoy just how massive she was, then how perceptions changed. Her voyage in pop has been one of the most interesting to watch. This song was written by Kylie for her amazing impossible princess album but didn't make the album. It was then released on an album called wicked women as an exclusive track to raise money for breast cancer in 1998. The song then came out on her hits + album and I think has become a favourite of that time. Another great performance you might enjoy from the same show is Limbo which she wrote with Dave ball from the grid and soft cell.
Try the “Crying game medley” from the KylieFever2002 tour and “on a night like this abs All the lovers” from the Aphrodite Tour. It’s the last Act……..will blow your mind!!!
This was my favourite era!! IMPOSSIBLE PRINCESS was due for release at the end of 1997 but had to be delayed after Diana dies….due to its title! So it had to be re-pressed & repackaged causing delays & meaning there were loads of leaks! ……this album was CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED!! Due to her writing it herself ….her first album completely written /co-written by her!! Her honest lyrics are simply amazing ….. you only have to listen to JUMP & DREAMS on that album to see what an underrated lyricist she is!! & BREATHE come to thing of it!! It wasn’t that commercial due to the delays & name change!! It was called KYLIE MINOGUE ….the same title as the album that came before it😬😬🙈🙈🙈 IMPOSSIBLE PRINCESS has now been reinstated x

A recent subscriber here and loving your reactions! Thank you for this...a rare track and one of my favourites from Kylie. Always comes across as spiritual to me and is a hidden gem. In the UK I believe it was released on the Hits+ compilation, mainly full of her mid 90s releases and bonus tracks / unreleased songs. Hope that helps!
1998 - she only did 3 small shows in the U.K., I saw this live at Shepherds Bush in London, was absolutely mesmerising - not a Kylie anyone had expected to see on stage. The same show was huge in Australia! Completely changed the public’s opinion of her - she had been knocked down by the Australian media/public a lot in her early career which was a terrible shame and must’ve really hurt her confidence - this was a sort of rebirth for her and to think she went on, only a few years later, to have what would be one of the biggest and best ‘comebacks’ there ever was - only even more global than before. This show was the very start of Kylie being known as a real live performer - her subsequent shows have turned her into one of the biggest and best out there - you just can’t go wrong if Kylie’s on tour! Great reaction - might go dig my I&L DVD out ☺️
The 90’s are known to be her indie era as she was signed with an independent record label because she wanted more freedom with her music, writing and producing. The album for this tour wasn’t a massive success so she was on a budget and her stage was pretty small, compared to Kylie post-2000. During this era she used her chest voice a lot, something that she changed completely after 2000-2001 where her head voice took over, making her sound softer in the way we recognize her voice.

I saw this concert in Sydney and London. It was an amazing time to be a Kylie fan. This whole show is great, but a highlight is "Dancing Queen".
