  • Unboxing and first improvisations with Piano & Layer Sounds together with a left hand bass guitar sound from Sampletank for IOS.
    These are some of the basic sounds I will use in my Band "Acoustic Affair".
    The sounds I've played are EP5 bright Tines layered with Bright Grand, the Velvet Grand and the Bright Grand solo and the fat Ballad EP2 Layer-Sound plus a Grand upright Layer and all together with some of this awesome superwave Pads and some organ. The end goes with the MK I which I love to play.
    Sorry for the slightly compression which comes from the camera recording.
    Introsong is a improvisation with Nord Stage 3, Bass from IPADs SampleTank and a Drumgroove from the Yamaha MOXF.
    Have Fun!

    After using a Roland Stage Piano, in a piano only 2 vocal duo, I've recently started re-using an old Alesis QS8, as I've joined a band again I gave away and which has been in someone's garden shed for over a decade, unused! ;O)
    It still works, but is way too heavy and needs a service..no good for gigging now ;O(
    I'm looking for a keyboard/synth that would be just as easy to programme in terms of patches etc. which could be called up at the touch of a button.
    I'm saddened to see that Alesis seem to have stopped making synths anymore.
    This Nord looks amazing, but I'm sure I'd never use half the features and all those knobs and sliders etc;O)
    The Alesis was *so* amazing in the programming, layering, splitting department, I think you could have, for example mulitple splits and layers in one patch, unlike my Roland, which is limited to just 3..
    If anyone could suggest an up to date, portable 88 key Synth that would do the job the Alesis could, I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks! ;O)

      when you find one please contact me!!! I am a solo artist,,and I can't find a keyboard that's as good at piano ( not weighing a ton ) and has a decent organ patch,,,I have narrowed it down to the hammond sk1, nord piano ,nice but no organ,, and the roland,,a tad heavy,,the problem with the Nord stage 3 is the mechanical key noise,,,it would drive me crazy,,,although my venue is small ( and I am looking at powered speakers now,,any recommendations ) it can he quiet,,,,and the additional key click does come out in the studio,,,
      the search continues !

      @@Vito_A_Labella Dexibell Vivo S9? I think you can split 4 points on the keyboard. It also is the only one with unlimited polyphony. I think its also the only one to include things like key/hammer noises. To top all that off its got THE best acoustic piano sounds. How do you find the piano action compares to a real accoustic or dedicated electric piano? My concern is that the Stage 3 is piano, organ and synth combined, so presumably they went for a keybed and key action which was somewhere in the middle of those three in terms of satisfying the respective players of those rather disparate instruments. I'm primarily a pianist but interested in this model (due to its synth functionality as a bonus.) Any thoughts?

    • @MrRabbitmusic
      @MrRabbitmusic  6 лет назад

      I'm not a big fan of the Nord Stage Keyboard Action. But this is a matter of personal taste. All in all it's a wonderful Instrument.

    • @duketranslucent3rd

      Certainly seems it, though I wonder if it's a bit overpriced. Have you explored the synth area much yet? How's that?

    Thank you! Is this the 88 Key? Which model would you recommend ?

    • @MrRabbitmusic
      @MrRabbitmusic  7 лет назад

      It depends on your needs. I like the 88 model most but it's not a lightweight (19kg - 42 pounds). I need this keys in the left lower e. The differences between the models are only keyboard action, number of keys, draw bars and of course weight.Compact 73: Physical drawbars, different semi weighted keyboard action - more like a Organ, very low weigth 10kgHP76: Same drawbar as 88, different full weighted keyboard action (some like it, some not), low weight 12,5kg

    Could you give me the secret of the beautiful EP layered sound at 3:30 ?
    thanks a lot...

    • @MrRabbitmusic
      @MrRabbitmusic  7 лет назад

      Shure: 'Ballad EP2' of the layersound Category plus 'Grand upright' plus a little bit of the first superwave sound. And then balanced with a little Reverb (Stage 2 bright) and with some EQ (mostly less bass, little more highs). Its also very important to adjust the key velocity (1,2,3) to your personal playing style. For me 1 or sometimes 2 is good. Depends on the sound.

      uh thats right. SampleTank 2 needs a 64-bit device, so at least IPAD4... Der ewige Wirtschaftskreislauf... SW schafft HW-Bedarf....war bei mir auch so. Aber das IPAD PRO ist schon super, da lohnt sich der Umstieg, auch wenns im Geldbeutel weh tut...

      Hehehe... habs auch ohne Neuanschaffung hinbekommen: Habe ja ein iPhone 5S - obwohl auch schon etwas betagt, laufen darauf auch die neueren Sampletank-Libs. Der "MM Bass Finger" klingt super!
