I agree Grant. In that Angelo Esposito draft, Kane was a primadonna in 2007 too, but he had absolute world class skill and he became a legendary NHL player.
It's way more fun to have these draft years where everyone has someone different at the top, so far we've seen lists with Schaefer, Martone, Misa and Hagens. Although you'd love to get a generational player as we're "in the mix" for 1OA, Habs probably walk away with a good one this year.
I think Grant might just be right. Hagens is struggling to score compared to Misa and Martone and Schaefer is a Damn good skater and Defenseman that could defiantly go 1st overall if he proves himself.
I really respect you Grant but i still doubt He is a true number 1.... that Misa dude. I still see Matthew Schaefer as a number 1 that eventually could be in the top 8 defense of the nhl... but its early to say I still see Misa as a .... Nick Suzuki middle of the pack first center.... even if his offense is better.... doubt he will be a top ten forward in Nhl one day
If Misa is a top3 pick but just a middle of the pack first center in the NHL...So that means that the 2025 draft year is possibly similar to the 2022 draft year talent-wise. No superstars at the top like in 2024 and 2023 !!!
@@powers1500 Schaefer has the potential to become a superstar. Martone has the potential to become a superstar. Hagens has the potential to become a superstar. & Misa has the potential to become a superstar. In terms of their ceiling at least.
@@moviestoshare813 I hope you are right since Montreal could possibly get one of them...with some luck though since they might not finished top5 again this year. At some point, they will start playing much better. It depends too what they do at the trade deadline !!!
I also don't place Hagens 1rst. He has everything, but a bit too small to me for a top 6 centre. I don't see much grit either. I wouldn't be disappointed necessarily, but Misa would be my 1rst. Even Ryabkin would have a pass for the same reasons.
Great Friday hockey time with the best draft specialist and a superb smily webmaster
Cheers to you!🍺
Grant I hope you feel better ASAP.
Wicked pod, great job guys
Glad to see you're feeling better Grant
Was actually telling my buddy this the other night Misa looks spectacular this year

great show guys !!
I'm 61 now. I can't believe life is short 😢 💔. Health to all ❤

I don't know Grant but, for what l've seen Hagens is faaaaar more skilled and Misa isn't a freshman too in the OHL.
I think Misa is a better fit for the Habs we need the scoring.
I’m watching Hagens right now… and he is pass first… not 1st overall worthy from what I’ve seen so far.. could change..
@@Greatfuture111 - Central Scouting Bureau disagrees with your assessment.
Hope that you feel better soon Grant...
FROM THE SLOVAKIAN NATIONAL TEAM AND TPS TURKU, JURAJ SLAFKOFSKY
sat wright play in junior and i had him 18th on my list that year and all my buddies said i was crazy , who laughing now !!
My dumbass read the title of the video like it was Jar Jar Binks speaking... 😂😭☠️
As he should (Misa overtaking Hagens)
Grant, chicken 🐔 soup 🍲 really works 💪. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 1000-3000 mg and vitamin D 😄. ❤ 🐸 zinc with copper. Good health, Grant ❤
Hope all the NHL content makes it to bluesky
Misa is similar to Celebrini, not as talented, but similar in style.
Honestly if you complain about X

Bluesky? lol. Give it 6 months and it's a complete shit show, leftists echo chamber

I never said I had Misa number one. I said I had him ahead of Hagens. Schaefer has been my #1 for the past month.

I guess Patrick Kane wouldn't have had enough size or grit either.
@rgood1204 Better not rely on hope in the top 10... leave it for 2nd rounders and others...
