    Eating lean meats can cause hunger between meals, eating meat with its accompanying fat helps with satiety, if I find myself getting hungry between meals I eat cold butter one tablespoon up to twice daily. Good job diva🎉

      YESSS!! This year I switched to much leaner cuts and there is definitely a difference. My body seems to need more fat.

    Prednisone is the devil! It fixes one issue but causes a whole bunch of other issues. Perhaps a 24 hour fast a few times a month would help with the weight gain? You look great and healthy💗

    You look fabulous Miss Diva, but boy, the weight thing is a never ending battle, isn’t it? I can’t remember exactly when I started IF but it was before you started. I had a lot of weight to lose and it took me a good 3 yrs of just gradually changing my eating habits and finally going to IF. I fluctuated 5 lbs up and down, up and down, this past yr, but the last couple of months have been very stressful and I can feel my waistband getting tighter. Also the tinnitus…. Lordy. My craving is pecans and dates. I keep telling myself, don’t buy dates!! But into the cart they go😂

      Hi there! Listen it's such a delicate balance between eating, fasting and exercising - not to mention sleep. And then when you add in stress... well, feeling our best becomes a real challenge. Be kind to yourself and work on ways to mitigate some of the stress. Re: cravings... there is something about the sweet and salty, chewy and crunchy that just makes nuts and dried fruit irresistable, lol! xo Cheryl

    Hey beautiful. 🌞
    Glad you uploaded this as I have heard about Intermediate fasting but never truly understood it like how you broke it down.. Thanks for taking the time to explain how it works. I have heard about the many benefits of it and considered it from time to time. Glad it worked for you. Hope you have a good Sunday and an amazing week. 💖

      Thank you! I'm glad the info about IF was helpful. I tried it several years ago and gained weight. This time, I adjusted my diet by adding a lot more digestible protein and that made all the difference. Take care and have a great week... xo Cheryl

    I think I accidentally fell into intermittent fasting during the pandemic and since I was basically in sweatpants everyday I had no idea I was losing weight, at least I hope that's the reason I was losing weight. I just eat during the 8 hours but I started late in the day. Sometimes I feel hungry earlier but I'll still try to keep it in 8-hour eating window. It does not look like you gained any weight but I hope you can get back on track. I wish I could do something for my belly fat, maybe I need to look more closely at what foods I'm eating and I still know that I'm not getting enough protein at least I feel that. I'm 5'3" with a medium bone structure as well and feel as though I am too heavy and need to lose weight but I've always been very well-endowed in the breast area so I wonder how much those weigh😂😂

      Well, I’ll tell you, many decades ago, my sister had breast reduction surgery in her 30’s, she was a 34DDD and she came out of the surgery 3 lbs lighter😂

    • @sable7114
      @sable7114 4 месяца назад +1

      @@Prairietallgrass oh my gosh 3 lb for just a reduction? I guess I'm fortunate that I don't get back aches or anything like that but what's odd is it doesn't look like I'm triple D. I went to Victoria's Secrets to buy a bra and the sales lady just said go into the dressing room and I'll bring you some to try on, I can just look at people and tell what size. Well let me tell you, after about the 10th size she brought me she got tired and decided to get her little measuring tape out and take a measure and after all of that she told me they didn't sell triple Ds and that I probably needed to have a bra custom-made. I didn't look like triple d's but no problem, so much has them and Bali carries that size. What made it even more difficult was that my band size was so small in comparison🤔 my bras still don't fit the way I would like for them to

    • @Prairietallgrass
      @Prairietallgrass 4 месяца назад +1

      @@sable7114 I think it was playtex back in the day that made a bra called a minimizer? My sister wore those and she didn’t look as big as she truly was. She had hers reduced to an B cup! She’d had back pain for years.

    • @FreeRangeDiva
      @FreeRangeDiva  4 месяца назад +1

      Oh, one thing I always forget to mention is that last year I dropped 2 bra sizes, so I was carrying excess weight in the chest. I went from a 34DD to 32C and I feel so much lighter in the chest area, there is less strain on my shoulders and upper back muscles and my shirts fit much better! For belly fat, food is the key... more protein and healthy fat and less carbs.

      I have a friend who had the reduction surgery when she was in her 20's going from a DDD to a C and her back pain went away. In my reply to Sable, I said that I always forget to mention that I went from a 34DD to a 32C and my upper back muscles are much happier!
