Good try, but not the right song for such heavy handed percussion. But the producer may be using the drums to cover weak lyrics and pitchy vocals. I don't know, because I can barely make out either. So very muddy, when compared to 1977's "Pirates" by Emerson, Lake and Palmer. But in all fairness, Greg Lake was at the production console, so you know he's going to showcase his voice, delivering Peter Sinfield's other worldly song lyrics. And if you don't know what I mean by 'muddy', give a listen to "Come Sail Away" by Styx, a sparkling home run in terms of songwriting, vocals, and synth, and benefitting from brilliant production.
