just saw Tapps over in Long Beach Ca. Lip sync city with this girl. I was disappointed. I thought I would see Candi Berthiaume sing her songs (Don't Pretend to Know, Hurricane, or Runaway. I know Barbara Doust wouldn't be there to sing her blasting vocals for My Forbidden Lover, and Burning with Fire. I am not sure who this girl is but it doesn't do the group justice to have a stand-in. Lime is doing the same thing with Stand-in singers. Not fooling the real disco fans who've been here all along.
Hey, she's singing karaoke right over the original 1983 version sung by Barbara Doust. Kinda ...misleading? I wonder what would happen if they turned the recorded vocals off?
